I love A&W since my teenage years. So on my recent trip to the Canadian Rockies with my wife and daughters, we deliberately looked for an A&W to eat one last time before we flew home to Singapore.
We had to drive off the Trans Canadian Highway to find one in Canmore on the way to Calgary Airport.
The staff were very friendly. Parking was very convenient. The restroom was clean. The Nashville Chicken sandwich and the root beer were good.

Pricey for a fast food. You can't get the cold brew with milk (only plain or with the cream) but you can get the milk in separate little bottle. Yeah, seriously.

Terrible experience Ordered through door dash for local delivery. Order was accepted by restaurant. Waited 20 minutes with the expectation that food would be delivered soon due to order being accepted by restaurant and delivery driver being assigned. Received a call from delivery driver stating they don’t have ANY of items available that were ordered. Why would the restaurant accept an order for food they do not have in stock. Please update your door dash if and when items become unavailable. Common sense would have been to call the customer OR don’t accept the order. Not only did you waste my time but also the delivery drivers time.

Just a drive thru experience, but positive. I could hear and understand the person through the speaker. At the window, the staff was friendly and the food was delivered quickly. Order was correct. All as expected!

I wish i had more photos. Anyway. Damn delicious hashbrowns okay. And like, if you just wanna drive through.. just go for it.
Breakfast or lunch, like, if you’re craving a burger or something.. just get it from here. You won’t regret it. The food is fresh and the staff are friendly:)

I give one star to A & W Canmore this time, I usually get one kind of sandwich and I was happy most days that how fresh it is, it was an absolute ‘Garbage’ and disgusting this time! I’ll take this restaurant out of my list and will never go back again! You pay and you get low quality food! You can’t give customers dried food, God knows how long it was sitting there before I get it, management: you’ll need a better supervision over how your employees serve food! Keep your eyes wide open!

Been here a couple of times and service is poor and the quality of food has been sad. We ordered onion rings and got half a bag of old oily rings, went back and they gave us another bag that was just as sad without any apology or explanation. That photo is what we were given with our meal. Very surprised and almost thought it was a joke when we took it out of the bag.

Parking is very limited and limited to 30 minutes at this restaurant. The person working the till did not know how to use my online coupon of the A &W site to upgrade my fries to onion rings so we had a long wait. Restaurant was clean and our order came out quickly but burgers were luke warm at best. Fries were hot and rootbeer is always good. Lots of other places on main street to eat but you'll need to walk or pay for parking.
