Staying at the Malcolm Hotel, so we had to try the Stirling. We booked the King's Table with wine pairings, which is a trust the chef sort of experience. Anthony was very attentive and took care of us all evening (we took our time). They were able to accommodate my gluten-free (celiac) needs.
Dinner began with champagne, a brioche roll with red wine and sea salt butter, burrata on a thick slice of tomato with a balsamic glaze, served with crostini. Mine came with two slices of toasted gf white bread instead of the roll and crostini (honestly could have done without bread if it wasn't nicer)
Next was salmon confit with fresh fig and a fresh fruit chutney, paired with rosé.
Third course was yak carpaccio with quail's egg, carrot curls and beet purée, paired with an amazing pinot noir.
The main course was lamb shank with gnocchi (fingerling potatoes for me), paired with a perfect Cabernet Sauvignon.
After Americano coffee, dessert was a sort of chocolate mousse? cake with mandarin jam, served with 30-year Taylor Fladgate tawny port.
An amazing experience! Great atmosphere and stunning food/wine

Where to start?! I wish I could give this place 10 stars… they deserve it!
My friends and I visited from Ottawa/Vancouver for a girls weekend (May6-8) and we treated ourselves to a dinner and the amazing Mother’s Day brunch!

Our experience, from beginning to end, was by far, the best… and we have Cody to thank for that! He was so attentive, well spoken, very professional and made us feel very important! He managed to move things around so he could accommodate my group for the Mother’s Day brunch… for which we didn’t have a reservation for. We were also extremely impressed with what he was able to do and it was definitely the highlight of our trip. The quality and selection of the food items was impressive! It was, hands down, the best brunch my friends and I had.

I also want to acknowledge our fabulous waiter during our dinner, Tabatha! She was attentive, professional, amicable and knowledgeable!

All in all, we had an amazing experience for both dinner and the Mother’s Day brunch. We will definitely be back…

We had amazing breakfast at Stirling Grill! The overall ambiance is perfect for me and my wife, service was great and the food, delicious. Our server Kyle was excellent, the best we experienced so far in Canmore (and we have been here multiple times!). He’s professional, sincere and loves what he does. We will be back for sure with the entire family!

From the person who greeted us the door through the server the staff was exceptional. The food was outstanding! The menu prices over premium for many other Canmore restaurants but worth every penny.

Quite patio with beautiful views, calming atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.

Never disappoints! After a day out hiking, my daughters and I stopped in for lunch. Service was exceptional and our server recommended some excellent items! Bacon clothesline poutine, beef bites, key lime pie, sticky toffee pudding were fantastically good. We also equally enjoyed Caesar salad with prawns and the French onion soup. Being able to sit by the picture windows and enjoy the view of Ha-ling and Miner's peak mountains was the cherry on top of a wonderful dining experience.

My husband and I spent our first Anniversary dinner at The Stirling Lounge. We arrived to The Stirling Lounge, greeted by the wonderful Anthony who brought us to our table, covered in rose petals for this special occasion. Lucky for us, Sunday was Prime Rib Special day and we were so lucky to indulge. We tried a couple of drinks from their cocktail menu (I had the cranberry cucumber colins and my husband had the barrel aged cocktail which was an old fashioned with a Stirling twist both of which were amazing). We started our 3 course meal with a minestrone soup which was thick, full of vegetables and flavourful. Our main was the prime rib and words cannot describe how delicious it truly was. All we can say is that it was the best prime rib we ever had. For dessert we each had a different selection from the dessert menu so we could each try something different. We felt bad eating them they were so pretty however we were glad we did. Our complements to the team behind the doors creating, preparing, and cooking all of the delicious food, you are not forgotten. Thank you to the bartenders for the wonderful drinks that we indulged in during our dinner, and a huge Thank you to Anthony for being a wonderful host and making our first anniversary a memorable one.
