Stoney's Bar and Grill

Terrific afternoon at Stoney's Bar and Grill. Fantastic staff. I will visit again when I return to Canada.

Went to Stoney's for their Valentine's day special. It was superb! Service was lovely but a tad slow - understandable as they were so busy in their off season. The bread came out warm and fresh. The starter mushroom soup was amazing. The beef was cooked to perfection - so tender and juicey. The asperugus was a perfect balance of greens. The fries were the best I've had in Canmore! When I had my mouth full of Stoney's delightful dinner they had pleanty of tvs and the Olympics to watch while chewing. All round it was a great night. My mouth had a party at this place so worth the drive off the main drag!

Went to the restaurant for our wedding anniversary and it was amazing restaurant. Food was great with very reasonable prices and the views of the mountains were breathtaking. The staff, especially Jasmine was very kind and polite. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.

My first time here with my friends after hiking. Thanks for the delicious wagyu burger! There’s a thick piece of Brie which I loved so much.😍The mountain view is stunning.
Although it’s a bit hard to find the entrance, worth the venture coz the meal, the hospitality and the scenery make up the hassles.😀

We called 72hrs in advance...no reservation for the steak house.... Could get group of 8 in at the grill. Arrived for a 30 min wait.
Best thing I can say about this place is the view from the patio. Limited food options and limited help.

Very disappointed. The only good thing going about this place is the view. We tried days ahead over and over to make reservations with the restaurant and they told us there was nobody there to take reservations. They said we could be seated outside immediately when we came in. That took 30 minutes. We had a group of eight that wanted a special meal and it was far from that. After starting to order we were told of five or six items on the menu that they did not have. It was because of delivery issues. I understand that but it doesn't make our visit any better. Our waitress only had three tables outside and we hardly ever saw her. The food was not anything special either. The hamburger was well done and tasteless and the salads were nothing special. For such a nice place, the food and service was way less than par.

The worst cocktails (and way overpriced) we’ve ever had. The food was not good either. The only nice thing there is the patio view.

Came here for lunch on a sunny Sunday afternoon. We sat outside on the patio. The mountain and golf course views are stunning. Our server was attentive and helpful when it came to requests involving our 3 year old and his picky eating habits.
