A little pricey but you are paying for the experience when you buy the drinks. The secret entrance was amazing and the bartenders were friendly and happy to test cocktails on you if you ask! Overall well worth the visit and a special place to spend time with a partner or friends.

Very nice spot for dinner. Everything we had was very flavourful and well presented. Randomly came across this place online while searching for a spot to eat. Didn't know it was mostly vegetarian/vegan but everything was good.

Highlights were the smashed cucumber and radish salad (sauce was very good), "chicken" fried maitake mushrooms, and crab handrolls. Their cake box dessert was also very good, don't pass on that.

One dish that we didn't really enjoy too much was the hand salad. I liked the concept and textures but I felt like it was very rich and heavy. It has a smashed avocado base and they add layer of dressing on top which made it a little sickening as you eat more. Maybe if they just placed a few dollops of the dressing around the top or dish, it was help reduce the richness?

Started our night with drinks in Bar Deja Vu (ask the bartenders for a custom drink or for them to put their own spin on something!) then moved to the restaurant for dinner. 12/10 would recommend. Went to the speakeasy side Bar Déjà Vu. The drinks were absolutely unreal. Ordered two drinks off the menu and asked the bartender for 4 custom drinks. Each drink was such skillfully put together. Would 100% go back every time I stop by in Canmore. The food from 4296 was also amazing. If you can’t get a reservation for bar deja Vu, you definitely still need to try out 4296!

The BEST vegan tasting menu I’ve ever had. Great atmosphere tucked into this cute alleyway. We left very full with lots of leftovers - there was a LOT of food. Love the creativity in the dishes

Amazing dinning experience, and most unique menu I've had the pleasure of trying. Interesting vegan options unlike any I've come across. The tuna dish is tops!.. & a large portion. The quiet cocktails keep us coming back!

Unreal dining experience and such a solid menu full of variety and incredible flavours. The vibe is relaxed and casual, yet has an upscale feel. Superb cocktail menu as well. The burrata is a must try! Will absolutely be back next time when in Canmore.

Taste explosion. Chef Blake is probably one of the most creative chefs I have had the pleasure of trying. Each dish on his menu is like an artistic masterpiece. Every recipe is so original but as amazing in taste as in appearance. I can't even describe how meticulously he must spend trying to perfect his meals and drinks. Rose gold placed on Burrata cheese with nectarine and honey! Wow
