What an amazing place. The lamp actually lights up at night!! It is very big, as it is the world's largest lamp.. you can go inside an look around too. The walls are decorated with pictures as well as plaques from people that paid $500 donations keep the lamp going and maintained. Across the street is the museum that is loaded with history. Children under 5 are free and everyone else is $5

Loved it. We were on our way from another park when we crossed the area. I was tired but, It sparked my interest so i got out of car and took a picture of it. My son is the one on the photo. Hahah

Looking forward to going back at night when it is lit up and when the museum is open. Overlooks a beautiful valley with hoodoos!

Great attraction for this very friendly small town! The view of the scenery from the Big Lamp is gorgeous in Spring. Donalda is a hidden treasure of Alberta with its big lamp, historic buildings, natural diversity, beautiful scenery, cafés, and craft shops!

Neat lamp and museum across the street. We packed a picnic and there were nice tables right close to sit and enjoy the views of badlands as we ate.

Nice little village, pretty Canyon, easy, a little muddy hike. Not challenging trip at all. Lots of bugs and cow feces.

The largest lamp is very cool to see as well as the old train station. Well worth the stop

My kids had a great time posing for pictures and the other buildings nearby were great for photo opportunities. My 14 year old twin boys told me they didn't expect to have this much fun!
