Canmore Museum

A cool experience for our family. The kids enjoyed doing a scavenger hunt for various items through the museum. There is a nice mix of interactive displays and static displays. It is a cross between a natural science museum and historical museum.

On a day when the weather was cold, we stopped in to learn about the local history and geography. The museum gave us a great picture of the fortitude and determination of it's early settlers. It's collections are impressive. I am glad we visited.

Beautiful little place, the lady working the museum was very nice. She stayed a little later so we could see the little exhibit. And they have local art in the gift shop, which I always appreciate.

Nice little museum to learn a bit about the history of Canmore. Learned something new, that’s always nice.

I wish I could move to Canmore ad.1930. Or even just Canmore before it became so overpriced😁

Could be a bit bigger…. The information about mines was good… I was able to pick up some books about the area too

The museum was worth the visit. It was fairly priced and not overly long. It was great to see the local history of the area and understand how the town grew into what it is today!
