One star just doesn't cut it for the experience I just went through this morning dealing with Marshall. I went in to pick up a U-haul Truck that I had reserved online and Marshall handed me a couple pages to sign for my rental. I have rented from U-haul on many occasions that I never felt the need to really go through the documents (poor me) until the last couple times when I noticed additional charges on my credit card. I informed Marshall that I did not want the extra $15 vehicle coverage added to my rental bill as he had added it without my consent. Marshall proceed to inform me that It is a REQUIREMENT that I accept the $15 charge even though U-Haul makes it OPTIONAL. I notified Marshall that I am a regular with U-Haul and I never get the $15 coverage. If U-Haul wanted it to be a MANDATORY fee, they would need to make it MANDATORY for all customers. I contacted U-Haul afterwards to cancel my reservation as Marshall had not cancelled it and I informed them the reason why I was cancelling. U-Haul agent informed that the coverage is OPTIONAL. Going to this place was a total waste of my time and I will never go to this place again.
