Rocklea International Motel

Overnight stay as was Airforce 100th Anniversary celebration . Close to event. Great service. Rooms lovely and clean and comfortable. Great coffee machine with pods. Kettle and tea and fridge. Free milk poppers from device desk fridge. Only complaint would be pillows are too soft but not a great issue. Will definately stay again.

Definitely not a 4 star motel as described. A bit overpriced for what you get. It's serviceable, and makes me think the owners had a 3 star motel and decided to put the minimum effort they thought they could into it, to achieve 4 star rating, but missed the mark.

The rooms are what you'd expect, a bathroom and small bedroom. You get a mini fridge, kettle with coffee and tea, a TV and internet access. The bed was comfortable no complains there, but the rooms were very mediocre. The service was excellent! Very friendly and helpful staff. There's a pub directly across the street if you need a feed. I was doing training in the area so the location worked for my purposes, but it's well off the beaten path if you're vacating. All in all if I had something to do in the area I would stay again. A solid 3 stars.

The room was very clean. Hotel across the road is very handy. However, pillows are paper thin and try sleeping right next to the stairwell where everyone thinks it's a great idea to laugh and yell in the middle of the night. No sleep at all, we won't be staying here again.

Very disappointed in this place. Yes, it was reasonably cheap - $100 a night. Described as 'deluxe' but anything but ... (See pics) On an extremely busy road so very noisy. Only plus is a reasonable hotel opposite.

Rudest staff possible, Had to prove I was a non smoker ( never smoked in my life)before given the key. I was given the base room, when I paid for a deluxe queen room, was told no refunds take it or leave it. Lady got very angry and abusive when I proved her wrong, and then her husband started harassing me non stop at my door and on the phone. Had to call the police to protect me while I left and got a refund and went elsewhere. All I wanted was a nice bed and shower for the night.
Room was clean though !
