Smoke Hole Cottages

We got a house that is part of the resort and it was absolutely beautiful country home feel in love with it!!!! Loved ridding our motorcycle through the mountains and seeing all the scenery and the gift shop for the resort is AWESOME AND HUGE!!! DEF WOULD VISIT AGAIN especially when I was told we were going to WV I was not happy but I didn't want to leave when it was time to go home def a great place to visit ❤️💙💜💛💚

I highly recommend getting together a whole bunch of your friends (slept 15) and staying in their 5 bedroom house right on the river. We were here again for the trout fishing which was a little slow this year. I heard something about problems with the hatchery.

Love the cabins, everyone was friendly kids loved the pool with the playground right there. I'll be coming back again.

We stayed at the cottages. Our cabin wasn't very clean 😕 not enough tolit paper, not enough plates,dirty dishes and a ink pen found in one bed...was the sheets even changed? A towel was left in the trash can with vomit all over it....Pool was nice lol but for the money you pay definitely needs improvement.

We have visited Smoke Hole cabins for years and we are never disappointed. Very clean and quite comfortable. The staff was kind. Everything was just as it was suppose to be!

Enjoyed our stay, but the accommodations could have been better
1. Room could use more light. Only one light/table on one side of bed - a second should be in place.
2. No light in the shower - also dark.
3. Heater is extra noisy - goes on and off all night and is loud enough to wake you up.
4. Mattress very soft.
5. A little chintzy for the price - at $250.00/night, not even a roll of paper towels provided, and the firewood was extra. We stayed three nights, asked for firewood for the third night and got no response.
6. Kitchen nicely outfitted, and we made use of it.

I enjoyed it very much. Use to come down when I was a kid 28 years ago
