I highly recommend renting from Hillbilly Haven Log Cabin Rentals. The cabin was very clean and offered everything we needed. The hot tub on the deck and the Jacuzzi tub inside were both very much enjoyed. The cabin was gorgeous. It was constructed of beautiful log wood inside as well as outside. A cozy fireplace and well stocked kitchen made the stay most enjoyable. The staff was great to work with from making the reservation through the check-out. They were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The had the cabin clean, warm and ready for our stay. I highly recommend Hillbilly Haven Log Cabin Rentals and can't wait for our return stay with them.

Almost heaven needs work and a good cleaning. Mice poop in kitchen drawer. Upstairs bathroom faucet is backwards. The shower fixture spins completely around and is nearly impossible to use. First floor bathroom exhaust fan doesn’t work. Grill was an absolute embarrassment. Completely trashed and filled with 2 inches of grease. Spent an hour cleaning it out so it wouldn’t catch on fire. Do us all a favor and throw it away for god sake. No grill tools to be found. The place doesn’t need updated, it needs to be properly maintained. We spent a lot of time cleaning when we left as per the checkout rule sheet. It was definitely cleaner than when we arrived. It’s a beautiful cabin. We don’t need a luxury experience but people pay to stay here and deserve everything to function properly.

I love and hate this place. The cabins are always filthy, they charge you a ton of money then won't even take out the trash or do any housekeeping. You are basically responsible for cleaning the entire cabin from the last people when you get there, and then maintaining and cleaning it again before you leave bc they do not clean them at all. The hot water goes out constantly, which we learned was an easy fix on the electric hot water tank, but they do not and will not tell you how to fix it and will leave customers for days with no working hot water unless you figure it out yourself. For the price, the environment, and everything overall it is worth while, but if I had a bit more money I would spend it to be in a clean cabin with all utilities functioning regularly and/or maintenance to fix it. If you want to go hunt and sleep in a dirty cabin its perfect, if you want to bring a family along bring LOTS AND LOTS OF CLEANING SUPPLIES!!!

We checked into Cabin #6 (Just for 2) Friday and have no complaints! It was clean when we arrived and the Check-in was easy! Checked out Sunday and again was simple and everyone was friendly! Thank you for a great weekend away!

My husband, my dog, and I stayed in Cabin 1 (the dog friendly cabin). We had a blast on our little weekend getaway! Late October was the perfect time to see the beautiful autumn colors of the woods surrounding. Cabin 1 is right next to the pond so it was a beautiful view. We saw deer a couple times as well. The cabin was clean and cozy. The fire pit was utilized both nights and it was very relaxing, peaceful, and quiet. We did bring an extra blanket and we were glad we did for an extra bit of weight at night. The bed was comfortable enough for two nights. The water pressure was great! The employees at the gas station were very friendly and welcoming. You're quite close to Trans Allegheny Lunatic Asylum which was great to tour. We're definitely planning a return trip! Thanks so much for an awesome stay!

I'm not one to complain or ever write a negative review. I have spoken with staff when I turned my key in and management with no resolution. I was to speak with the owner who never called me back. I stayed at cabin 6 for the weekend. The hot tub had a sticky black build up around it and the bubbles would have a black look to them. The bed was so hard I felt like it was sleeping on a rock. We had no hot water on Saturday and ran out of gas for the fireplace on Sunday. Some of the furniture had wood peeling. Nice area to visit but I would not recommend.

Very dirty. Pots and pans need replaced for new. Grill is broken down and filthy. Mold on shower curtain. Very small. I have a lot of family in the area and they are ashamed to have these in their area. I would never recommend. Rules they have are ridiculous. Why would you people turn off and on a hot water heater. Dangerous.

CABIN #8. Arrived expecting privacy and cleanliness. Neighbors over hill could see you in hot tub. No curtains over sliding glass door. Light switches not working. No water pressure although says they have city water now.tv remote has tape holding it together, dish remote half works. Mattress was horrible and wore out. Very dirty. The porch decks are slimy, black, slippery needs pressure washed. Couch is broke on left side. Very disappointed. On phone and upon arrival was told this place was very nice. Very untrue. I never do negative reviews. But so far our stay has been horrible. Arrived here 6-11-21 leaving 6-13-21. Im sure we will not be refunded any amount. Tried to email. Dont see an email address.
