I'm certain they have lots of choices here but I never get past ordering the BBQ. Someday I am gonna try something else but maybe not anytime soon.....Just give me more of the BBQ :)

Nice place to visit and enjoy a meal with friends.

Staff is friendly and its always clean.

Oh they make these fried tortilla things that are so good. They come with a plate of their chili and I hurt myself every single time I eat them because I cant stop.

We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for our first trip to the Hatfield and McCoy trail system. Kathy is so accommodating. She had the AC on in our room hours ahead of our arrival. Key was left in the door in case she wasn’t there when we showed up. We stayed in room 21 which had two beds although we only used the 2nd for changing into our gear. There’s a small table and two chairs for eating, a recliner, and drawers for your clothing. Shower was hot. As a tip not a complaint, bring your own shampoo and soap for the shower as there isn’t any. Walking up to our 2nd floor room there is a foyer to leave your dirty boots behind before walking to your room. There are outlets there for boot dryers if you have them. There’s also a cart right there with a microwave and a coffee maker.

Downstairs looked spectacular! They really did a nice job decorating the place with history. It’s a nice place to eat. We stayed during weekdays so the full kitchen wasn’t open for all of them but she did come in every day and make us breakfast which I thought was nice of her.

Wednesday they opened the full kitchen for dinner. Man was that good. There were 6 in our party and everyone loved the food. I highly recommend the Boston Pork Butt!

We’ll definitely be back again this year. It’s a 10 hour drive for us but we’ll worth the trip!

We eat at Wingos every time we come to Matewan. The pulled pork platter is fantastic. The breakfast's are quick and satisfying, especially since are anxious to hit the trails. The food is good and the restaurant decor is so unique. The accommodations are nice, clean rooms, lots of space and the staff is friendly. Kathy and Don are wonderful people and so helpful. We love to talk to them and hear details about this wonderful part of the country.

Quiet little town. Staff is sweet. Great location right next to one of the trail entrances. Parking lot in back is big with plenty of room for truck and trailers.

Wingo's is a great place to stop and grab a bite to eat. Right in the hear of Matewan and rich with history. We had the hot wings and the sweet and smoky wings. They also had some great homemade desserts! Definitely look this place up when you're in the area!
