The Smokehouse at Blackwater Falls

Not badly priced. Decent portions. I did not get my coleslaw though or my fries. Not sure if they did a double order of onion rings or what. Make sure to check your takeout

Got the pulled pork samich. Was good had a good sauce. Had a kick but was disappointed it had no smoke flavor. Not sure if they smoked it. Can't comment on coleslaw or fries because they didn't put them in there.

The food was really good, I got the riblets basket with curly fries. The fries were really thick and perfectly cooked, and the ribs had just the right amount of sauce and char. Service was great, and we were one of the only groups in there on a Saturday around 1:00pm

The restaurant is located inside of The Blackwater Falls Lodge. Very nice clean environment, friendly staff, and decent service with EXCELLENT FOOD!

The food is fantastic, but the waitress service is slow and it wasnt busy at all when we were there. I believe there was 2 tables with people .. including us. I got a burger and asked if it came with any sauce, the waitress said she thought bbq sauce. When it came out there was nothing on it, so I ate my fries and waited for the waitress to come back so I could ask for chipotle mayo. She didnt come back for a long time. Our drinks were empty and my burger cold till she did come and I was able to ask for sauce so I could eat my burger. I saw her kissing a guy by the kitchen, so not sure if she was distracted and that's why it took her so long to come back and check on us...? She was very friendly! No complaints there. Just needs to be more attentive to diners.
Still ... great food and a great view! But only eat here if you're a patient person ;)

15 minute wait in line to be seated just lets you know how good the food is going to be. The pan-seared trout was amazing! The huge windows give you an absolutely beautiful scenic view. The 40 minute wait on food was long but worth it. Waitress was very attentive, helpful & friendly. The scenic lookout just outside of the restaurant is a must see!

Great location at the top of the Mountain View. Food was fresh and tasty. We ordered cheese steak subs and Grilled chicken sandwich. All our foods was fresh. Little bit longer waited. But it is fine. After lunch we hike down the water fall near by. It was shot but some places are deep. Wearing the hiking boots are highly recommended.

Breakfast was plentiful & good. My dinner (the salmon) was good, but not so much for my husband. His pork chops were VERY overcooked & had bone slivers. If you order the cheesecake, be prepared to pay a LOT for VERY LITTLE. Waitress was so embarrassed about it, she brought out extra slices! Because the pork chops were so disappointing, we were given a discount off that dinner & dessert was free. Waitress was very pleasant & helpful! Outdoor views, as always, were beautiful!

Wonderful upscale atmosphere offering lots of smoked BBQ fair alongside great pasta dishes, excellent salmon and trout and plenty of local brewery ales.
