I liked the stinger sauce.

While visiting an old friend during Marietta's Riverfront Roar, he recommended we try this new place for the first time since reviews on other sites were stellar. First off, this is an old house that has been gutted and re-purposed into a restaurant. Main dining room is probably 12' x 12' at most with 6 booths crammed into the space, with a few additional tables in the foyer area. Whole area is being cooled by a single window unit air conditioner that absolutely can't keep up, so first impression is how HOT this place is inside. We ordered light meals with the intention of trying out their desserts. My friend & I each ordered two hot dogs that all appeared to be fine until until we got a taste of the "mild" sauce. I love spicy food but we both agreed that the mild hot dog sauce was absolutely way too spicy. When raising concerns with the wait staff with how we felt we may have received the "stinger" version of the hot dog sauce, the waitress insisted that we indeed received the mild sauce and insinuated we were merely not manly enough to handle their sauce. The service was rather poor as the waitress disappeared for large amounts of time even though we were desperately in need of drink refills. With the lackluster food & poor service, we decided to cut our losses and opted to go across town to another restaurant for ice cream.

This was my first time here and won't be my last. We didn't try the food and only had ice cream. A little pricey, but good. The chocolate was nice and rich. Definitely share the freak shakes unless you really feel you can put one away. I ate it myself and wow that was a mistake, but it was a challenge. Wasn't going to let all the chocolate goodness go to waste.

Went to take the kids for an evening treat and that's exactly what we got! Kids loved it, as did I. Has the nice hometown feel with both the Indoor and the outdoor seating. The burger I had before the milkshake was just as delicious. Would definitely recommend this place for a meal or just some sweet treats.

A bit overrated. If I’m paying nearly $7 for a sandwich, it would be nice to have fries on the side.. or any option side. The claim is that it is slow roasted pork, but it tastes exactly like Sam’s Club pulled pork. Exactly. For that price point, I would expect either toppings and a side. Basic bbq pulled pork in between a bun. For additional $3 you make it a meal, but honestly for what you are getting, the price point should be lower. I guess someone has to pay for the recent renovations!

Their freak shakes are so much fun!!! The ice cream is delicious! Food is good as well! Small place with not much seating. I wish they were open more days of the week.

My family and I wanted to grab lunch from a local spot we had yet to try. We spotted Yellow Jackets and decided we would give it a try. We ordered 3 kids ice cream in a cup, their bbq pork burger, “pepperoni roll” & a fried balogna sandwich. The total was a whopping almost $45! That was all fine and dandy if the food was remotely what was shown on their ads via the internet. The “ pepperoni roll” was hard bread with tons of red sauce poured inside. No cheese anywhere (it showed it covered in cheese on the google page). We couldn’t even begin to eat it.My husbands
Sandwich had three hunks of bologna on a tiny bun soaked in sauce. We took photos of it. He did eat it because he was starving. My burger was the best of all 3 but was not warm and had lettuce and tomato as I requested it not. I called back in once we discovered the quality. I was told no manager would be available for a half hour. Called back 40 minutes later “ the manager wanted to take a message, she was in traffic. Two hours later no call and no answer when I tried calling again. NEVER again will we return and we will NOT recommend to anyone! Edited: also that price included absolutely NO sides!!!! If anyone was wondering.
