I don’t live in the area but go out of my way to stop at Melanie’s whenever I come to WV. Some of the best French toast I’ve ever had and always friendly service

A very nice, extremely clean restaurant. We visited Melanie’s on our way home from a weekend of traveling to view the fall foliage. The staff (gentleman who served us) were friendly and attentive. The salad bar comes with your meal and was fresh with plenty of choices. I decided on the deep fried oysters, baked potato and green beans. My husband chose the Grilled Chicken O’Brien smothered with onions, sweet peppers cheddar and mozzarella cheese. The food was delicious and hot! We will definitely be stopping again when we are in the area. I highly recommend this business!

First timer here. Had to try the biscuits and gravy. About as good as they get without being homemade. Waitress was super sweet and friendly. Very good prices. 10/10 recommend, worth going out of your way for. Would try the sausage explosion next time!

We drove about 3 hours to bury my father at Cemetery nearby. A group of 9 of us stopped in on a Saturday afternoon with no notice. Although it took some time to get the food it was all accurate and the waiter was awesome and the food was delicious! Great job! Will stop by again next time I come to the area.

This little dinner is adorable and the food is really good. Portions are generous and prices are very reasonable. Can't wait to return and try their pancakes! The biscuits and gravy are delicious!

Very good food.Very good service.Friendly and Clean.Go quite often.Only one suggestion. Need a Dusk to Dawn light in parking lot .
