My fiance and I dropped off a pair of shoes to be cleaned and for the toe cap to be glued back to the fabric. They told us it was $26 dollars and left. We came in today to pick them up and they very clearly had not been cleaned. When mentioned the girl behind the counter stated that she saw the lady clean them. There is literally no way that was possible. They returned the money for the cleaning but not before telling us not to come to back. I don't appreciate being lied too when clearly there is sand in the creases of the shoe. They are a pair of $220 dollar Jordan's that are well maintained. It's just bad business.

If you wear Red Wing Boots (or shoes) this is THE place to buy them. It's like going back in time to when customer service and knowledge were important. Larry spent the time to make sure I was getting the right fit and answered all my questions. Don't let the modest building fool you, you'll find a better selection here than at any "company" store in the Tampa area.

I had to bring a pair of cowgirl boots that were my daughters. Her dog are the top pull step off one side. He made them as good as new. Highly recommend this boot repair store. They also have great boots for sale.

Dropped my shoes off for repair. Was given a ticket to pickup two weeks later. When I went in to pick them up, I was told they were “lost” and they would have to try to find them and they would call me the next day. I did not receive a call, so I called two days later. I was told they were found. When I went to pick them up an additional week later, the work I was told would be done was not. I then asked if I would be reimbursed for the extra time and work not being done and the owner told me he will refund my money and then give my shoes to a homeless person because he did the labor for the little bit of work on the shoes. He also told me he could “not help that the shoes got lost.” He then put his hand up, waving me out of the shop. Extremely unprofessional and rude. And a complete waste of money for a poor job.

Brought in my pair of Dan Post boots for sole repair and was given 3 options by the knowledgeable woman whom I believe to be the owners wife. Paid a reasonable price and was given a ticket for about two weeks, and they were done 4 days early and look and feel fantastic. Very pleased with the old southern charm of the shop and friendly family staff. Should I ever need repairs or the like, I'll likely to return.

Amazing store and even better service, had a pair of red wings resoled and ended up putting a pair of boots on layaway. If you're wearing boots you gotta walk into Larry's

Just picked up my handbag that was a crossbody bag, needed the handles at the bottom where it meets the purse repaired, they would have only had to literally cut off about an inch of that and reattach it to the purse on each side, they cut so much off that now I have to carry it over my shoulder and the stitching is absolutely terrible, I don’t even know how there still in business, this handbag was over $400.00. I’m so upset and disappointed, they totally ruined it.

Great....small, family friendly and family owned. Fairly good prices and large selection (especially for men) of boots (all kinds), etc. If you don't see what you want they can most likely order it in for you. Very knowlegable and they obviously do repairs. Support your local family businesses first!
