making her cry.....). This school only has an A+ Rating because it is in an area where a large portion of the parents are wealthy and take time and interest in their kids' education. It has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the quality of teaching/admin. There are a half-a-handful of exceptions with the teachers, but overall major reform is needed so badly! Thank goodness I only have 5 more months to deal with this school. It can't go by fast enough.
this school is not half bad, if you ignore the fact that there are numerous fights, drug deals such as marijuana, and the careless children.
there are some teachers that are literally awesome and give you the respect that you require. although i will not name anyone, my language arts teacher has been known to be a very rude teacher. she hasn't graded an assignment that i turned in over a month ago and her excuse is "i just haven't gotten to it." , although she has graded everyone else's which happens to be the SAME assignment.
there have been subs that have been accused of inappropriate behaviors such as taking pictures of students without consent or using inappropriate language.
our new bell sounds like an alarm. ms argrett's microphone is too loud during lunch. these both have been known to hurt other's ears including myself.
most of the good teachers are the young ones. i will not name one, but he is a 7th grade civics teacher. im sure you can guess who it is if you remember mr farrell's old classroom. this teacher is honestly one of the nicest, down to earth teachers ive ever had. hes understanding and he knows what the right amount of work is to give to a student.
now that i notice i'm probably writing too much, i'm gonna just end it here. overall, this school has it's ups and downs. there's ALOT of room for improvement.
ps DONT COME HERE!!!
There are some pretty nice teachers currently (its currently 2018) although some of the teachers I have are horrible. I won’t say names but you’ll hear daily that a teacher wasn’t doung their job or was being rude. Some teachers and administrators will loose their temper and yell very loudly. Others won’t even do their job and be just as irresponsible as the students. Elective classes are disgraceful jokes. The description given and name for elective classes for this school are so broad and confusing. For example, PE or gym class is named “ Comprehensive “. How do you expect a student to understand what class comprehensive is? That sounds like some sort of literature class, not PE... Students are terribly nosy and rude. It’s very unpleasant to attend this school and I purposely miss days only to get a break of this place. It causes too much stress on the kids and the homework loads are unbearable. Don’t go here.
