Fort Pierce Westwood Academy

I heard some bad things about this school, but my own experience has been great. The teachers are very nice, and they have a lot of clubs and teams to choose from. My son is in the JROTC program and he absolutely loves it! His grades have improved dramatically and he has made many new friends. If this school was bad before, it's up and coming now. They are doing it right :)

This school is like every other high school: LPA, Central, TCH and all the others. They don't even misbehave. There are a couple of fights here and there but doesn't all high schools have fights. What i don't understand is that people are judging this school based on how many blacks go there. To be honest we need to stop judging this school and the people in it just because we are black. We are still good and smart kids we just need to stop and look around us. We still have discrimination around us. I hope this helps people realize that Westwood is not a bad school and that we are just like every other high school out there.

Terrible school, the environment is like no other the kids refuse to learn and listen to the teachers. The teachers are alright

I love this school! I am a Former Westwood Student Graduated Class of 2019 & I’ve had the best experience. This school is nothing like how others described. A great percentage of the teachers and staff make it their priority to give you the education you need, no matter what ! I will never forget Fort Pierce Westwood High School, now known as West Prep 🙌🏾!
