the school is okay. the teachers are good, but their ways of teaching is how they teach for the test. and not how to teach the students how to think. the amount of field trips are nice and the administration is horrible. ms jimenez, the principal is the only good one. ms Davis, Torres mchale, and ms pineira have no idea how to run a school. there's many incidents of bullying and the way they give consequences is way too strict. a kid got suspended for 3 days for going to the ptsa first instead of lunch. and the teacher lied and said he was skipping.

I am writing this review because someone needs to stand up to the horrible leadership that is going on at this school. My niece is currently attending 7th grade and is being bullied by her classmates. Yesterday there was an incident m that resulted in my niece falling down the bleachers stairs and because of bullying. This whole thing happened during PE and there was ONLY ONE adult "supervising" the children.
My niece spoke with her counselor Ms. Davis and she said she was sick and tired of all the drama ... Really? Sick and tired?
The principal didn't do much talking according to my niece in regards to this.
This whole incident is sickening to even begin with. And I am writing this based on what my niece tells me but I believe her. There is more than enough evidence to show that schools are not prepared well enough to deal with bullying. They want to put a bandaid on the issue rather than putting a good system in place. A principal who has no input when a kid is in a situation like this, has horrible leadership skills. And for a counselor to be "tired" of all the drama? I have news for you... They're kids!!! That's what happens!
I will reach out to the school district superintendent and the district attorney. I will not rest until something happens. I will not let my niece be the next kid to commit suicide because of the bullying.

This school is a great school. Adminastrators help you with your problems or whatever you need, they are there for you. Hialeah Gardens Middle School has an amazing learning enviornment. The teachers are good at what they do, they listen to the students and help. So far, the 3 years ive been here have been amazing, we are rewarded with dances, carnvals, spill outs and many more activities. The school is also involved in many activities and supports anything that is for a good cause. Mrs.Pineida funds for the dog rescues and the entire school comes together to help anyone or anything that is in need. I extremely recomend this school to any kids out there. The administratores like Mrs.Pineida, Mrs.Frye, Mrs.Figueroa, Mrs.Davis, Mr. Serio , and the greatest principal out there Mrs.Jimenez. Come join the Jaguar Pride.

I loved this school. I had the best middle school years anyone can ask for. The principle is always so full of ideas for this school and they have a lot of fun activities including a carnival the last day of school with bounce houses, water balloons, rock climbing and more! Honestly some of the administrators could be a little over the top but over all I would send my child to this school over any other.

The school does offer courses for students to follow their future careers. Class will only be fun depending on what teacher you get. Lunch is trash, but it's not worse than the high school next door. The Principal is lovely and so is the majority of the staff. The school is quite diverse, you'll find peeps from Spanish culture. Shout out to Mr. Cruz and Mrs. Laubscher to being the best teachers ever!

The best school in the whole world. One of my teachers Mrs. Foster( language arts) is a great teacher she used to teach high school students, so she treats your kids like responsible yound adults. I am currently one of her 8th grade students and i love it. I never thought that i would like reading as much until i got in her class. Don't believe the lies they say about her she is a great teacher and teaches writing and language arts. I love this school!😁😁

Went to this school all of middle school. Teachers here are really a hit or miss, there are some amazing teachers, along with some that slowly suck the soul out of your body with every class, and don't even get me started on the faculty and lunch (you can't pay me to eat their awful excuse of a meal). Students here are also blatantly racist, so have fun being anything other than Hispanic. Oh, and the bathrooms are nasty, I advice you to avoid the ones near the cafeteria. Over all 4/10, should've went to Mater.
