The teachers have been great and guidance stellar. However what is up with the ladies in the front office? They are down right rude and arrogant. You receive no greeting not even a nod or eye contact. I have literally stood at the desk completely ignored for over five minutes while not two but three woman had a completely unrelated to work conversation. I dread going in every time. And really hope this message is read by someone who will change it. It happens to alot of people I've watched on many different occasion.

This school is 100% bad. Went there almost 3 years ago for 7th grade and it awful and I learned absolutely nothing in this school. The people are bad, the teachers are god awful, and on top of this one of the teachers was a pedophile. I have many, many stories about this place from my 1 year here, but one of the weirdest was when I was early. I got off my bus, went inside and grabbed breakfast. my earbuds were in my ears plugged into my iPhone in my pocket. one of the heads named pam or something like that came up behind and tried to reach in my pocket and grab my phone, so I told her my head phones were plugged into nothing, and she reached again, I told her no, and I got written up. I said I was not comfortable with her reaching in my pockets and no one even said anything about it, Guess that's why Mr Phillips stayed in that school so long.

The school is terrible, it goes both ways either kids are disrespectful or the staff abuses their authority wij silly things. Good kids get pick on by other kids. This school needs more staff or less kids and/or new staff That is able to turn this school around. At the end the good teachers and good kids are paying a high price of lack/insufficient discipline. Worst school ever.

My daughter spent 4 years very happy at Jupiter Elementary and was excited about school. But she got here to JMS where she is now depressed. Some of the adults there made my child feel very horrible, then tried to victim blame. My child experienced bullying from adults at this school, during a hard time in her life. She had the best admin there to turn to though, Mr. Moreno (assistant principal) and the principal, Lisa Hasting. Her band instructor, Mr. Destito is very excellent. The aftercare instructor, Mrs. Davis was very supportive of my child. My child made good grades, did well in band and had many good friends she loved. I am so disappointed in what Ms. Lowe, Ms. Mays and the (woman with blonde hair) Laura at the front desk, did to my child. They revealed personal, family information in front of her peers, that embarrassed her. She has not been the same and now has to get therapy about it. These are people my child felt was there to protect her, instead they gossiped about a child and her family members, instead of doing their job. Even breached confidentiality about her adoption situation. Unfortunately, when my oldest daughter (high schooler) told me similar things, when she was a student here, I didnt fully believe her (I regret that now).
