After Hurricane Irma, I decided to weatherproof my condo with impact windows and doors. I shopped around for quotes, and Carbonneau was actually the highest. But the owner Mike's knowledge and responsiveness was my deciding factor. The team in the office, Caroline & Gem, were very efficient in getting the installation scheduled. Finally, the installers Dan & Ken, were pros. Aside from a couple of small issues that they have to come back for, the entire job was done on schedule. The windows and doors look fantastic and working with Carbonneau's was a top-notch experience. Highly recommend.

I have a beautiful entry door that I love! Highly recommend Mike and his team. Cesar on the installation team took his time to explain each step and was very polite and made sure I understood my new features. He was also very respectful about my interior and kept the dust to a minimum. I am a very happy customer and can't wait to have them on board for my next project.

Mike Shea came to my house almost a year ago and we placed an order to replace all windows. It took them almost 3 weeks to replace 15 windows. The guys that came out to do the work were very friendly and very professional, but most days there were only 2 guys that came out. Neighbors had entire houses done in just a couple days. There was a manufacturing defect on one of the windows which Mike Shea said that he would get resolved.....9 months and many messages later, I am STILL waiting for the job to be fully completed. The permit already expired and it hasn’t been inspected yet. 9 months is absolutely unacceptable and with the lack of follow up, I cannot in good concious recommend this company for any future work.

Mike Shea, President/Owner is one of the good guys. While there were lots of issues with PGT that were NOT the fault of Carbonneau's Windows and Doors, he proved that my original opinion of him as an honest man was correct. He gave me a fair price. Installers were FANTASTIC - neat, clean, & professional. I now have a new full glass impact front door and great impact sliders on my 20' X 10' sunroom.

100% recommend. Our windows were broken & damaged due to burglary & the entire inside of our home was damaged due to arson. We had multiple hurricane impact windows that were damaged secondary to the levels of high heat sustained on the inside of the home due to the fire. We shopped around & got quotes from multiple impact window companies. Carbonneau’s offered the most competitive quote & were upfront with the timeframe for ordering/installation so we knew what to expect. They kept us updated throughout the process & we are very happy with the repairs. We cannot thank them enough for helping us restore our home to normal. -Sanjiv M. & Tamara M.

We used Carbonneau's Windows & Doors to install new hurricane doors and windows. Not just only it makes our old house look modern, but it helps with the road noises. We live on a busy street and it is so quiet inside the house. We highly recommend the company. Ask for Casey. He is an asset to the company. Not an average contractor.

I spent around 25k on windows and doors with them. The office service is absolutely terrible and non responsive. They don’t even pick up the phone. I had windows installed in October and some more a few weeks ago. And it’s impossible to schedule inspection because all tech people are on a job. Bottom line the company is taking on too many jobs and the priority is installation. This means that once you got installation and paid they will not take care of you and complete the job So don’t pay them until after inspection. Meanwhile my Hoa is citing me for not getting my entry door painted as The front door was replaced as well. So if you want to keep chasing Mike who is one person and cannot cover everyone go with using this company otherwise go somewhere else. The tech guys who are doing the work are good and do a clean job It’s the office that is absolutely terrible and unreliable. They never ever returned my calls. I referred them to my neighbors and my friends who actually are just waiting for installation. Never asked for referral discount. And now regret to put my friends thru it. Very disappointed

July 2nd 2021 - Im re-editing my review. After listening to my complaints the company fixed all the problems. My backordered screens came in and were installed promptly . Inspection was scheduled and passed with flying colors. Changes are being made in the office procedures as the company is recognizing that it needs to do better with customers.

About a year later and it is impossible to get anyone to respond to get our door inspected. After multiple calls, and emails. This is absolutely ridiculous. We are getting ready to sell our house and need all permits closed - including that of the door they installed. Hopefully this complaint can get their attention.
