Dr. Garfield and the staff at that office are absolutely amazing! Very friendly and personable. I have tried to get a cardiologist closer to me (I'm in Tampa), but Dr. Garfield and his staff has set the ball so high, that I have yet to meet a cardiologist to match up. Thank you to his staff who always find a way to accommodate me with my appointments. I never, ever mind waiting as I know he is a very thorough cardiologist and takes his time checking!
I don't know what I will do, should Dr. Garfield ever retire :/

am totally pleased with my cardiologist Dr. Gary Garfield, he’s knowledgeable and caring!
I wouldn’t want to have any other! He was recommended by my father-in-law. I went to see him for a second opinion for a congenital condition and i love him. Thank you Dr Garfield.

I have an appointment and the waiting time is at least one hour, every time. To much!!! I did not even see my cardiologist but a nurse practitioner. Would be nice they tell me this upfront. She did not tell me the result from the EKG and was rushing to get me out, not even 5 minutes. Disappointing.

UPDATE 11/12/21: it doesn't look like I have an option to respond to the owner's response, so editing my original review with more details about my experience. The owner said, "We take these concerns very seriously..." To that I say (1) your time to take it seriously was when my wife was a patient there and trusting you to act professional and (2) it doesn't show that you take it very serious because I left a message with your answering service over a week ago and never received a call back. I tried calling that # a couple of times since the owner posted their response. It just rings and rings. Yes, I only left a message last week, but I honestly don't have much time to spend discussing what happened in the past and we've moved on to another doctor. At this point I see the owner's response to my review as a way to make it look to others like they are concerned, but was really just a copy/paste response to which they couldn't care less what happened. Also their office never sent a bill directly to my wife, instead handing things over to a collection agency. Sad that we've had to pay anything out of pocket for services that in the end were an absolute waste of time and money, but now just seems that they are trying to retaliate in any way they can.
---------------

My wife was recently a patient here trying to get diagnosed for some heart-related issues. The initial visits and diagnostic tests went well, but then things went downhill quickly when another diagnostic test was prescribed and had to be scheduled/performed with an outside provider. My wife got passed back and forth between H&HI and the other provider with no one taking a genuine interest in getting the test scheduled. There were also several times she was told she would be contacted but never received a call unless she or I called them. Turns out the other provider requires a consult with my wife's cardiologist before they will schedule. At least a week passes and I receive a call from the office saying they found another provider to do the test so they want to know what day/time works best for my wife and they can schedule it. I tell them as soon as possible and mention we had a week vacation coming up in 2 weeks where we'd be out of town so preferably before that but could be after as well. We never received another call from them and it's been over a month. On top of that, they wanted her to take a medication to "see if it helps". But if she took it, then it would negatively affect the results of the diagnostic test. We're trying to confirm what's wrong before deciding on a course of treatment. Just another doctor in this world who is more interested in treating the symptoms than looking for the cause and it's gut wrenching to see them handle my wife's situation with such neglect.

We've scheduled an appointment with a different cardiologist so hopefully that will go much better. If I could, I would give H&HI zero stars. Perhaps they do well for their patients who have a straight-forward condition that doesn't require much effort on their part but anyone reading this who has a unique situation that requires more attention and time, I would strongly suggest you look elsewhere.

I’ve said this before, but it’s worth repeating…..
NW hospital should change it’s name to the
NW Ritz Carlton!!
My three day stay felt like a vacation! Valet parking, Welcoming Staff (ER) a single room with a view with privacy on the fifth floor….. delightful porters who chatted a bit while being wheeled down to get an MRI and CAT scan…
nurses and Drs were very attentive and considerate. Even the cleaning crew were kind and courteous. If the food had been salted, I’d call it “cuisine!” What more can I say…..
If you added a salon, I’d book it every year!!
Thank you for treating this senior citizen like a Queen! My follow up visit with Dr Turk was also a great experience…. His attention at the hospital was very personal and thorough, just as it was in his office. The office is run top notch. I’ll remember to bring my “fur” on my next visit. The room temp may have been chilly, but the attention that was offered was quite heartwarming!

I came to this cardiology group after a miserable experience at another cardiology group. This practice in above just a mere improvement it is night and day. From the moment I got there I was treated as patient not just someone to sit around a waiting room. They valued my time too! I was seen right away. The med tech escorted me to my room did my vitals all the while treating as a person. I met with a PA explained my situation and he asked questions and seemed to listen. I then met with Dr Sabates and he was terrific. He explained what he considered my situation and recommended a plan on how to deal with it. Everything was explained and he used visual aides on a big screen. I left feeling I was truly on my way to a healthier path.
I would highly recommend this group to anyone that wants to be seen, listened to and feel that you made the right decision by coming to this practice!

I had the pleasure of having Dr. Turk as my physician. Truly wonderful bedside manner, easy to talk to he takes his time and explain everything to you. I have high blood pressure and I was a high-risk pregnancy, while I was at the hospital they called him up in less than an hour he was in my room.. You can’t go wrong with him, And he’s very honest with his diagnosis he’s not going have to do a necessary test.
