I can not believe this place says they help people with mental disabilities. They literally wouldn’t see my son for an appt made while he was inpatient. These desk staff are rude and can trigger problems in people who are mentally barely hanging on.

I have been going to Susan Michaels for over 4 years. She listens to me and she actually cares what happens to me. Susan Michaels is one of the best Dr’s I have seen in the Mental Health field!!!

Good luck actually getting a hold of anyone after your initial appointment, been trying for 5 days to call about having a ssri dosage increase only to have left well over 5 voicemails.

Horrible experience at getting refills for my autistic son for noncontrolled medications. They wait until he runs out or close to when he runs out before they will refill. Despite him being on the same meds for years they will not write for refills we have to have an appt each time and they schedule the appointments after he would run out. Would absolutely not recommend for anyone needing maintenance medications for their kids or themselves. These meds are incredibly important not to miss…

Do not recommend this place at all for mental health needs, do not come here. Unhelpful, rude, take forever to get back to you and will ghost you for zoom appointments.
They did not seem to respect me when it came to my medications, either suggesting to take me off stuff that I have been on for 10+ years or wanted to put me back on things I tried before that did not work out for me when I know what works for me. Was treated like I was just being lazy when it came to my mental health issues and not having energy. They are too passive when it comes to your needs and only insist on putting you on medications but don't discuss with what you are comfortable with. Had to insist over and over that I did not want to be on something that previously didn't work for me and was brought up every single appointment I have had. Unpleasant and unfriendly, feels like everything I said was brushed off immediately.
Was ghosted for a zoom appointment after waiting over an hour for them when I was early for the appointment. Had to call several times just to get them to refill my medications. Always expect not to hear back from them at all unless you are willing to waste your time calling them over and over again. It becomes a chore to just get refills from them.
I assume this place has taken on too many patients that they cannot provide care for. That and the staff and everyone working there is rude and unfriendly.
I strongly do not recommend coming here for your mental health, please do not waste your time. Would give this place zero stars if I could.

Good luck trying to get any help. This place has a low rating for a reason, and that’s coming from an 18 year old, not a Karen. My first appointment was just an introduction over the phone but they were about two hours late to call me for that after I had called the front desk to ask about my appointment being late and not getting an explanation. On the phone we set up two more zoom appointments which were one and two months away to talk to a psychiatrist and a therapist. So what that tells me is you guys have way too many patients and need to stop taking on new patients if you can’t meet their needs efficiently. I was told to be in the zoom call 10 minutes early because the psychiatrist likely would leave and cancel my appointment if I wasn’t in the call when they joined. My appointment was at 1 so I entered the call at 12:50 and waited on zoom. I finally hung up at 2:10 because I had things to do and couldn’t be waiting around all day. My appointment was scheduled for 1 and that’s what I had planned my day around. If you are working with patients who suffer from mental illness, you need to respect their time and have a nicer staff at the front desk. When I had called about my appointment a month ago the people at the desk were rude and unhelpful and made me nervous to call them again.

My husband is a pt here and has been calling for 2 weeks to speak with someone! The only person who calls him says that they are waiting on someone else to call them. They have ignored him to the point where he can't take calling anymore. This place is horrible.
