Don't believe them when they tell you they honor a 1 year warranty on their batteries. They did not resolve an issue I had with a battery I purchased 1 yr ago last 8/2019. I asked for an exchange before the yr was up since it had a 1yr warranty but no response. I realized it was not holding a charge and was getting over heated when charging. Only after I gave bad review did I hear from them. They assured me it was not the battery but the charger and sold me a charger for 1/2 off. Aug/2020 I purchased a backup battery because the insecurity I had with the first purchase. After receiving the new one I realized the difference between the 2 and emailed again stating I had no issues with the old charger on new battery and performance was a huge difference from the first one I had received. I would keep the backup but wanted them to exchange the 1st one as previously requested. They had been slow in filling the first order and the owner said if he had to he would send me a loaner until mine could be shipped. He denies that it was a used battery sent to me. I was thrilled with my Superfly Electric Bike but I shouldn't have to feel insecure about the quality of the battery I was sent and it made me reluctant to ride further than a couple of miles. A huge investment to have to purchase a backup for another $600.00 on top of a new charger and original price of $2600.00. Below is picture of the old and the new battery. You tell me if they both look new!

I’ve been looking for a battery for my bike for a very long time and these guys just built me one, they are so knowable and so professional I’ve had the best experience and I will definitely come back and continue buying from this company.

This store is probably the best in South Florida. They are very friendly and have great advice. I had a problem with my battery from a brand they don’t sell and still were able to help me. I am completely happy with there service. If I need a new Bike from now on I will go to American Electric next time.

I bought my e-bikes from this company. Very good service, courteous and professional. If you're thinking of buying an electric bike, go see it's worth it. I highly recommend it. Or if you need a new battery.

would like to thank Arie at American electric for replacing $1300 Veller with a brand new $2000 Raven after the Veller was unable to be repaired. the Veller was purchased from a 3rd party vendor (Hollywood Beach Trike.) and American Electric still honored the warranty. They were very professional and helpful and made sure that i was happy with the upgrade.

This is a good place with a wonderful service. The owner is very honestly, and the bicycle is a very good quality

I’ve never written a negative review before but the lack of professionalism and careless dismissal that I experienced when I purchased a bike online 2 years ago. The bike was certified pure owned but arrived in the worst condition and when I contacted the owner for assistance I was never offered a resolution. The battery for the bike was supposed to be the most premium version that they offer; the casing was cracked and broken upon delivery and has not been operational till this day. I spent over 1600 dollars and CAN NOT use the bike. DO NOT SHOP WITH THESE PEOPLE.

The shop is a must to go to if you have any electric bike. I went there last week he recharge the battery and it still didn’t work. They took my bike apart and worked on for five hours to get all the electrical and perfect condition and now the bike is perfect he only charged me a small amount .The people are very friendly. The work is exceptional at the customer service is superb. Is that a commercial zone in Hallandale very close to the freeway and well worth an hour drive to get there.
