Brought my daughter’s bike in to get her brake cables adjusted. I was expecting to drop off the bike and pick it up later that day or the next. They looked at it right away and fixed it and the wheel alignments right away. The service manager did a great job. I’ll definitely be back for future repairs or to buy something. Thanks !

Trek Bicycle Oviedo (TBO) is my one stop bicycle shop with top notch Bontrager cycling products. I transitioned from flat pedals to clips, and the TBO team guided me through selecting the right shoes, inserts, and clip set ensuring high performance, safety, and comfort. I am grateful for the personalized and knowledgeable service provided by Store Manager Jim Smeltzer and Sales Manager Allison Mellas as well as the entire TBO team.

I asked for a tube replacement for Cannondale bike at Orange cycle. I showed sales personal the old tube and thinking the one he gave me was correct because nothing was said to me it was a different size I brought it home for repair. The tube Orange Cycle gave me was a different stem and a different width. When I called the answer was it would fit the tire. I then called Dave's Bike Shop in Oviedo and was informed the exact tube was available. Orange Cycle wants a sale more than an informed purchase. The tube Orange Cycle sold us would have been very difficult to install in the tire and would have warped the tire on the bike.
I am now bringing my bikes to Dave's in Oviedo with 24 hour turn around service not an 8 day wait unless you give a deposit to hold spot.
I also was told at Orange Cycle my chain on my bike needed replacement and after bringing my bike to 2 bike shops I have been told my chain is not 50% worn like Orange Cycle told me. The chain on my bike is fine and does not need replacement.

Allison was great on helping me and my son get some great riding bikes she helped pick out all the accessories that we needed to get along with our bikes. Great job!

Jim at the Oviedo shop was super friendly and knowledgeable. Could go for a quick test ride and was satisfied by the price/value. 10min later, after a quick check, I walked out of the shop with my new bike and could enjoy the weekend. Great Service.

I went into this shop knowing I wanted to buy a road bike, but I had no idea which kind is right for me. I didn't know much at all. Jim Smeltzer asked me some questions (experience, riding goals, height, amount I can spend, etc.) and in a few minutes I was test riding a new bike in the parking lot in front of the shop. About a week later I bought the bike and now I'm having a blast learning how to ride!

Jim Smeltzer (store manager) genuinely cared about getting me on the right type and size bike. I went with the Trek Domane AL 4, an aluminum frame, endurance style road bike. It's designed more with comfort in mind
as opposed to speed, which is what I prefer personally. Wouldn't have known about this bike if it weren't for Jim!

Jim later helped me pick out the right pair of cycling shoes and shorts. He also recommended the chafing cream, and I'm glad I trusted him on that. It truly is needed. He also ran through the basics of cycling with me and answered every single "rookie" question I had, even giving me his email in case I have more.

I also recommend Allison who prepared the bike for me when I bought it. She did a careful, thorough job! Everything was in perfect order. Without her recommendation, I wouldn't have realized the necessity of having two water bottle cages instead of one. Nice call!

Jim called me on the phone to personally congratulate me on buying the Trek bike, as he'd stepped out for a moment when I picked it up. I later got a postcard from both Jim and Allison thanking me for my business. What a class act! I really appreciated that!

I look forward to stopping into David's World Cycle Oviedo again and definitely recommend it, especially if you are new to cycling.
