Have known Steve for quite a few years now....from our annual trip to Daytona for a month, we got to know him along with the crew from Plan B many years ago. Was always a highlight going to the store, and now it's a new store in a different location, The Hub Cycling, for the past two years. This year we ended up going to The Hub our first day here during the sidewalk sale. Well, it's hard not to lust after the Colnago bikes in there!

I thought this would be a great reason to upgrade my wife's bike....we have been road biking for about 10 years and her old bike needed a little love.

We ended up trading in the old LeMond and worked with Steve to get her a new Colnago. This first started out with a test ride on a similar bike, we got to take it for a 20 mile ride, my wife loved it, but didn't love the color. So we ended up with speed black/white as you can see in the picture, she rides much faster now! It's a totally cool bike!

After the first ride, she came in and Steve fit her to the bike and all is great on the bike riding front in Daytona! She rode her personal best on the way up to Walter Boardman Road from Dunlawton, 16.7 MPH average for 20 miles! Thanks to the staff at The Hub including Matt and Steve's wife.

I've been to several bicycle shops in the area to have some work done. Nothing major, all I wanted to do was have some handlebars and cables changed, but it seemed like everywhere I went I was more of an interruption of someone's day, not the reason for it. That all changed when on a whim I stepped into "The Hub Cycling" in Port Orange. I met Steve, and all though he was busy, he made it a point to acknowledge that I was there and politely tell me to hang out and look around, then he'd be with me shortly. I already felt more at home there in the first 2 minutes than I had been at the 3 other bike shops I'd gone into. When It was finally my turn, I was surprised to find someone that was as passionate about my project as I was. Not only did they take the time to actually listen to my ideas, they offered their expertise and even had the parts I was looking for in stock. They showed me some alternatives, and I never once felt pressured or meant to feel like just a walking wallet. We decided on parts, and made an appointment to get the bike customized. I was expecting a wait time of several weeks (based on the estimates I got from the other shops) and was extremely surprised to hear that they would have it back to me within 24-48 hours. I was blown away. Since the Covid Pandemic started, there's been a run on bikes, and people having their bikes serviced, but as busy as their repairs looked to be, they were confident I'd be back out riding soon. People often say they aim to "Under-promise and over-deliver", most of the time it's really just a line to gain trust, but these guys proved it. They came in well on time, and within the expected budget. I'm thrilled to say the repairs and recommendations they made completely changed the bike and I'll enjoy it for years to come.
If it was possible to give more than 5 stars, I would. These guys are the real deal, they are enthusiasts themselves, and it's easy to see by the passion they show when they even talk bikes. Social gatherings, group rides, great information, great service and an awesome selection are the reasons that The Hub Cycling is my home for anything bike related. I will gladly pass by 3-4 other shops and make the 30 minute ride, the've earned my repeat business, and I suggest you give them a shot too!

I brought my bike in maybe a week or two before Christmas. I asked the gentleman to straighten the wheels replace the brake pads and brake lines. Also advised that I cannot get into the high gear it continues to stay in low gear and he stated that it was because of the chain derailleur which he took off and kept. When the bike was ready and I went to go pick it up it seemed like absolutely almost nothing was done to it it wasn't even washed. I asked the guy behind the counter what exactly did they do to it, he said look at the website and see the packages as if I'm supposed to compare what I paid to what they offer instead of just telling me exactly a rundown of what they did to my bike. This is especially a dumb answer considering they offer à la carte services. I write this now because I'm now fixing my own bike again. The rims were still bent The brakes barely still work and I don't even think they replace the brake lines I think they just put the caps on the tips to make it look as of they were new. It was a complete waste of money wouldn't pay $20 for that kind of service. If they did but I asked him to do it would be a different story.

Look no further for your bicycle needs, this is your local shop to use. Recently purchased a "big boy" bike for our son. The gentleman, not sure his name but I believe is the owner, was top notch. He went over all of the bike options and really made my son feel special for this big purchase for him. Staff here have always been amazing and professional. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this shop for any and all bicycle needs. We will be back to support this local business.

I bought 2 different e-bikes and couldn’t be happier! Couldn’t figure out the lights and shot them a message. They had my answer within an hour and now I can drive at night. The owner and staff are top notch. I own a business and don’t give many reviews because my reputation is 5 stars and A+BBB.

First time visiting the shop and I was not disappointed. I went in to get a new pair of riding shoes and then spent an extra 45 minutes or so getting a great education on a new bike. They had no problems giving me all of the time I wanted and answered every single question I had. They didn't want to over-sell me and spent time explaining the difference of bikes and gear in different price ranges. This is the way professional shops of any type should be! I'll be back for that bike purchase!

I am a teacher at a local elementary school. Our school has a lot of students who walk and ride bikes home. One of our third graders was riding an adult bike and his family couldn’t afford one for him. I reached out to The Hub Cycling to see if they could help or knew of a group who could. They were so gracious and kind and were able to get that student a bike that day! Thank you so much to the owner Steve and employee Dylan! That little boy was so happy today with his new bike!

Since the first time I walked in, it was great. Very helpful with getting me into cycling 🚴‍♂️

It’s been some time now, and the bicycle is still great for exploring new places 😆
