Deland Cyclery

This guy does good work timely and for a good price -- and he doesn't try to upsell you needlessly. Tiny little storefront, crowded with bikes, accessories, and tools. I'm going there to buy my in-laws a couple of cruisers for Christmas, and I'd advise anyone -- especially if you're not especially knowledgeable about bikes and need a fix or some help -- to stop by DeLand Cyclery. It's the kind of small business we need a lot more of. Cheers! Joel

I took a recently-purchased used bike in for a tune up and wheel replacement. Ted saw right away that the handlebars were on backwards-my fault! The bike was always a pain to ride before my visit. I took it out today and it rides completely different. The gears shift flawlessly and Ted was right : "you'll notice that it rides much better now." The price was reasonable and the service was exceptional. I purchased a good used bike and found just the place to have it serviced.The open road awaits.

Is a Mom & Pop shop. Small in size but Owner Ted Beiler was friendly and took the time to show us his products. He gave us helpful information on E-bikes and recommend (2) websites to checkout.

I reserved the last (2) Stars for product satisfaction & after sales customer service...
So since I didn’t purchase anything or received customer service I can only give a (3) Star review. I do recommend checking out Deland Cyclery for yourself.

I’ve been going to ted for every cycle need I’ve had new or used for the past 6 years. He always works with you and doesn’t give you that cocky cyclist vibe that other bike shops give their customers. Forever a loyal deland cyclery customer. Thanks ted!

I took my bike to Ted when I moved back to Deland and he was so helpful and got it tuned right up. I love biking in our area. He has lots of accessories and new and used bikes for sale too. Great place for all your bicycle needs.

Ted is the bomb-diggity-bikemaster-diggity. He helped me put together an ebike for my son days before the holidays last year and he made a teenager an extremely happy and grateful guy. And his momma bear too. Ted, thank you. You are a true gem to the people of Deland.

So glad I took a second trip out to find his shop. The first time out I had not seen his website which does have a good map showing where his shop is located (delandcyclery.net). I was looking for a hybrid bike. Unfortunately he did not have one at the time. He was very honest and did not try to sell me something that would not work for my interests. I ended up ordering a bike online which needed some assembly. I was able to take it to this shop where they took care of the assembly and adjustments. In doing so, they identified a part that was damaged and helped with getting a replacement part from the company (which was very accommodating). Bike rides great. I am very pleased and will definitely use him again when needed.
