Swank Salon

This place is damn amazing - classy and just enough sassy! Everyone was very nice and laid back. One of the stylists, Ari, did an absolutely fantastic job on my hair! I went from long hair past my shoulder blades to a very short pixie style and even threw in subtle purple tones on the bottom layers to give it that extra pizzazz!. I had never been here and naturally a little worried going to someone new for a drastic change (plus my hair can be very difficult to style). You can tell she loves her job and wants you to have the perfect haircut. She won't rest until you're both satisfied with the look. I have found a new home and wouldn't think of going elsewhere!

I have been a client of Sherri's for over 13 years and I wouldn't trust anyone else with the hair care for me and my whole family including my husband and teenage boys. She hire's knowledgeable, friendly professionals who treat us like family and spoil us with all the attention they give us. It's always hard to leave once the appointment is over. Swank Salon has an ambience that is soothing, and fun and the boutique carries beautiful, unique clothing, purses and jewelry that is also very affordable. I have everything I need at Swank Salon with Sherri; excellent hair care, the best hair products, clothing, purses, jewelry, and the people who I look forward to visiting with every month!

I look forward to my regular visits to Swank Salon for cut & color by stylist Ari. Not only do I love all the attention my hair gets from her talents but also enjoy the luxurious decor, gracious atmosphere, and quaint boutique! Yes, in spite of how pretentious this salon looks, everyone is friendly. Also, I have recommended Ari for weddings and special events and always receive the highest compliments. This place is a real gem!!!!

I am new to the Addison area and I am thrilled that I found the Swank Salon. The atmosphere was great, "swank" is a perfect word to describe it. I needed to make a last minute appointment and the staff was more than accommodating. I received the best highlights/low-lights of my life! They blended very naturally. The cut was fantastic too! I highly recommend Swank Salon. I found it very clean, professional, great products, and a friendly staff.

So i love these people so much. I've been going here for about a year now and they've got my hair down to an art. It's absolutely beautiful. I like how clean they are with their technique and I'm so down to let either Vicki or Sherri cut my hair any day of the week. I give them coloring permission too and I have had loads of compliments when that's happen. Hands down one of the best salons I've been to.

I had my first appointment with Swank Salon. After two bad haircuts from another salon, Sherri was able to cut my hair with precision and turned a mess into a style that I love. Wish I'd gone to her in the first place. She's truly an artist, enjoys her craft and pays attention to every detail. I won't be going anywhere else.

I have been to Swank several times and have always had a good experience until today. Sherri was kind enough to get me scheduled the morning of my Wedding Day.

I had Michelle and she was irritated and rushed the whole time. Her attitude made me very anxious and it turned into a very uncomfortable experience overall.

I didn't feel listened to and my hair didn't turn out how I wanted it. I left in tears and now have to rush to find another salon who can do my hair the way I want it for my big day.

NOT THE EXPERIENCE I WANTED AS A BRIDE ON MY SPECIAL DAY.

I will only be going back if I can book with Sherri or Rob or someone who I have had a good experience with in the past.

Sherri, the owner, is incredible. She's been doing hair for decades and is on top of all of the latest products and devices for hair. You can ask her anything and you'll always get a straight forward, honest answer. She truly is a color expert for blondes, red or brunette. I'ved been them all.
She's especially great for hiding gray hair w/o doing an overall color. That way you don't have to worry about roots growing in all of the time. If you're not sure of what you want to do OR how to go about doing what you want to do, she'll have all of the right answers. Check her out. You'll be glad you did!
