H&R Block

Simple customer service was too much for the female receptionist who answered the phone. She interrupted mid sentence when I was giving her information that would help pull me up in the system. After telling me SHE doesn't have time, I simply asked to speak to someone else. She then stated everyone else was busy.
I will be taking my documents elsewhere, and will continue to speak poorly of H&R, specifically this store, because of this experience.

My taxes got rejected. Getting someone at the office is seemingly impossible. I made an appointment for a call back. Never got it. I had to call. Once I called, I was told I would get a call back again that I never got. My taxes were not hard. I do not understand why this happened. I just want help. Worst of all I am over $300 for something I could have done myself. At least I would have myself to blame for the problem. I just want someone to help me and I feel like my problem is getting passed around.

Here I am currently waiting for the past 45 minutes in what seems an empty office. Only a couple has exited the building during this time. I had an appointment, but they don’t seem to care. First front desk lady disappeared after only 15 minutes. The second front desk lady asked how I was doing 30 minutes later, went to alert the rep and then also disappeared. Worst experience ever, should have stayed away based on other negative reviews. You should too. I walked out.

Smriti Vij is wonderful: patient, thorough, and gentle in spirit! She explains every detail of her work so a layperson can completely understand her tax return. She gives me confidence year after year that my taxes are filed correctly and that I've paid the appropriate amount of tax. Her professionalism and warm personality make her the perfect tax preparer. She is obviously well trained and knowledgeable and is an outstanding representative of H&R Block.

Ms. Sam who has had helped me with the opportunity to prepare my tax returns was absolutely delightful, helpful, professional and very informative and patient with me and I will most definitely will go back to H & R Block for the future.

Joyce was wonderful and took the time to figure out an issue with one of my forms. It took us a while but she worked until she was able to proceed with my return. She was extremely personable and I enjoyed talking with her.
