Fountain Tire

We have dealt with this store for a couple of years and I felt that they were pretty good. I have been concerned about a clunking in the suspension on my Dodge ram 250. So I took it in yesterday to have them check it out. The mechanic spent about 3/4 of an hour on it and the report is as follows. Only 2 mm left on the rear brakes. 3 broken exhaust manifold studs. And my universal joints are shot. Total estimate $ 1,441.00
I let them know that I checked the brakes a month ago and they were at 30 percent. Also the U joints only have 35000 k on them. I was told that Dodge has a problem with them. I went home and checked the U joints for myself and found them to be like new.
I think the clunk is the stability bar. . I will never go there again. Too bad.

Every year I take my vehicles to Fountain Tire for tire change, replacements or repairs.

Since we started working in this area we have suffered 2 blowouts due to the weight we transport. In both cases we have had outstanding service from the staff and techs here to get us back up and running, exceptional service like this is rare these days.

Blew a tire on our RV trailer. We were in and out of here in about 30 minutes. New tire on rim, spare off and back on its rack and on the road again. Great service.
