Great place with nice pathways. Stayed with a group of family/ friends. Loved the full hookups and how close it was to Drumheller. Pool was closed due to some A-hole in another country eating a bat. All in all the campground was clean and quiet and we'll be camping there again. Great job to the Village for keeping that Campground beautiful.

Stayed on site 19, which offered a fantastic value "cabin tenting" experience. Good campground overall with well kept rest rooms / showers. Not giving it a five because the cabin could have used a couple chairs, and the WIFI was not very good. At the end of the day, I do recommend this campground and I'd consider staying there again. Reasonable access to the Drumheller area.

First time in the East campground; stayed in the main previously. While not as thoroughly shaded as the previous campground most sites have decent access to shade but also great sight lines for viewing the night sky. WIFI was a bit slow or non existent when the campground was full, but most of the week I was able to access video and Live TV with the WIFI. Another plus was the daily cleaning of the washrooms. Other places are not as good. There's walking trails all over town and it's a great place to take kids from 4 to 12 with bikes.

OK - I was actually reluctant to post a review because for a couple of years now I felt that this campground was my little secret. Words' gotten out now however so....this place is a gem. The only thing holding it back is the fact that there is no gas station in Carbon at the moment - so plan accordingly - but the camping facilities are excellent, clean and well cared for. Spots are mostly large and private too and many have at least power and water service. Bathrooms and showers are clean and attended to. Nice bonus to have a great little swimming pool and decent burger place -as well as a well stocked, locally-owned store. I seefrom some other comments that there have been some partiers - all I can say is that I';ve now camped here at least 10 times with no issues - however I'm also not afraid to tell neighbors to turn the music off. Just sayin.

Nice campground. Carbon has excellent walking paths.
Deer wandered through our campsite. Sites are close and not much privacy.
The washrooms could have used a good clean.

The lack of an on site manager really hurts this campground. Rude and annoying neighbors playing there best club beat loop selection at 2am isn't exactly a great experience, and without anyone telling them to shut it down, makes it hard to recommend. Pool and disc golf were nice though

Worst Place We Ever Stayed!!! Don't come here if you want quiet family camping. Partiers Drinking, Speeding thru campground (not safe for your children), Loud Music till 3am. Campground manager said 20 people per site is expectable. Had to give this one star to post, should be able to give thumbs down. would be 5 thumbs down.

Varied sites between well-treed and private to wide- open and exposed. Tenters are relegated to an open patch. The dry season led to lots of ants. But this is a very clean, well-run campground and serves as a great jumping off spot for various activities in the Drumheller area.
