Delicious!! I’m so glad we tried this place tonight. I ordered the vegetarian plate and absolutely loved it. Full of flavour! Looking forward to going back. Thank you

Babylon serves good food, but the service could be improved a little bit. As we waited for the rest of our party to arrive, we were probably at the restaurant for about 40 minutes before seeing a member of staff. However, the staff were friendly and helpful once we talked to them and discussed our order.

We visited for a Saturday special during Ramadan, and loved all the dishes we ordered. The bread was so nice and warm, and perfectly complimented the stews. The tea and the Turkish coffee were good as well.

Overall, we had a great time at Babylon, and will definitely return to try the charcoal grill plates.

Food was great but:
- customer service is unfortunately bad.
- place was not clean, we sat on a dirty table and no one cleaned it for us.
- we asked for the Family meal and they said that they don't serve it any more. So why you keep it on menu 🤔.
- we then asked for 2 Babylonian mixed grill dishes and, again, they came with missing one component, each dish came with only 3 meat items instead of the written four.
- Prices are over what is mentioned on their Web pages.
Overall, we have not enjoy it and will not be considering to revisit unless they improve they customer service and be honest with their customer.

What beautiful people. My daughter and I were in the neighborhood and ducked in for lunch. We shared a plate of the lamb gheymeh which came with a ton of rice and salad. For only $15 this was great value - and home cooked with obvious love and care. In addition they gave us two complementary bowls of the soup, which my 3 yo and I both loved, and a lollipop for her. They doted on her too so needless to say she loved it 😆 and we will be back. The outdoor area is also a really lovely pleasant space - a little oasis in Moorooka.

Koobideh Plate was delicious and filling. The meat was juicy, tender and flavoured well. The only downside is that our meals took a while to come out, and we were only one of two tables. I would come back for the food, just be wary of potential wait times for your meal to arrive.

We've been living in the area for a while and FINALLY decided to try this place. The only disappointment is the fact that we waited so long to come here.

The food was amazing, chicken and lamb cooked to perfection, seasoned with care and accompaniments were exactly what was needed.

The menu is diverse and the drinks fridge is cold.

But for me the sweetest part of the experience was the hospitality and customer service. The owner ensures that our table was wiped clean before we sat, he came out and offered us extra bread and tea.

There is nothing more welcoming than a business owner who takes the time to check in on his patrons and puts his heart into his business.

I thought about taking a photo of my plate before I ate it, but alas it was too good. So here is my empty plate as a testament to how good the food really is.

The owner shared this quote with us while pouring our teas, "heart good, food good." Safe to say this guy has a GOOD heart.

Second time here in the week as the first try was so delicious.

Grill plate had tender meat, moist and flavour filled rice. The salad is superb- wonderful flavours - possibly pickled cabbage

Today we tried the lamb shank. Was so big and I couldn’t finish.
Came with bread, rice, salad and yoghurt. Was absolutely delicious.
