We had the banquet. Flavours were too strong and clashed for us. We just didn’t find any of the dishes to be balanced and they were too overpowering. Even the dessert had too much syrup. It wasn’t terrible but less is definitely more.

The staff were certainly friendly and attentive though.

The place was cozy. Service was quick. Food was cooked well. The chicken was yum! Highly recommended and it’s a good amount for sharing. Really enjoyed dining here

Great experience. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was warm and moody. It did get a bit noisy and bustling but showed that everyone in the restaurant was having a great time. We ordered the dinner banquet for three and every dish that came out was amazingly tasty, from the miso butter scallops, the baked barramundi, the pork pastries and to the miso caramel panna cotta. All so delicious. Highly recommend.

We experienced an excellent cooking class at the golden pig, so tried the restaurant.
Service, timing, quality & quantity of food all 5*.
Simply one of the very best restaurants in town.
Could go on about this for ages; suffice it to say this is now our go to restaurant if we ever want to impress visitors to Brisbane.

Had a great morning at the cooking class with my partner and the rest of the group. I think it must have been the most professional class that I have been to. Katrina is clearly very experienced and a great teacher.

An absolute culinary delight! My husband and I ordered the banquet and were not disappointed. The flavours of each dish were plentiful and tasted delicious, it was hard to pick out a single favourite. The staff were very friendly and very attentive to our table. We are looking forward to coming back already!

Went for a work Christmas event. We had a cooking class for the first course (split into 4 groups and each made an entree then sat down and ate it and then they made us our mains and dessert).
Really fun and great for building team interactions.
The food was great and such simple recipes were delicious as were the meals we didn’t cook.
Catered senselessly for vegetarian and pescatarian.
Good large group tables added to the sharing experience and generally social interactions.

Tables were spread out and felt private, with attentive service from friendly staff. The food was sensational and we will definitely be back. I had a lime cocktail with wanton, bao and lamb roll starters. We shared pork, barramundi, noodles and roti with friends for mains. Dessert was a brioche hand of buddha with cardamom and brown sugar ice cream. So delicious!
