Hakataya Ramen Indooroopilly

This is Australian ramen. Let’s be honest with ourselves. Sure, there are some stools around a bar, but Tokyo this ain’t. I would say that if you have a hunger for ramen you should fine one of the more authentic places within Brisbane (Taro’s immediately comes to mind), and save yourself from the mediocrity of flavoured water with noodles. Sure, ten years ago this would have been the best ramen in Brisbane without question. But today? No. We have better options.
The gyoza were pretty good, and helped to add one star to the review.

A very good example of a Hakataya business. Clean, reliable food, and good service. Was inspired to leave a review because I could feel the friendly kindness of the woman who took my order. It set the tone for a very nice dining experience.

Absolutely delicious! I come to this store all the time and I honestly think it’s my favourite thing in the world. It’s my comfort food! Whenever I’m sick and stay home from school, my mum goes and gets it for me because I love it so much. Please never close this store down and never change the recipe!!!!!!!! 💗💗💗💗😍😍😍😍

Good but needs more variety like seafood on the menu. There is no Ramen place in Brisbane AT ALL with seafood on the menu .... Melbourne yes. Brisbane nope. Brisbane needs to wake up. If there is a ramen place with seafood it will blow up. Why hasn't anyone done this yet.....

The staff here are so friendly, like the most lovely people EVERY time.. also, the food is delicious and even when it's super busy it's never a long wait for food.

Ordered a gyoza as a takeaway and I returned in less than one minute to say that it was cold. The guy just shouted at me and argued that he just cooked it - very rude but I didn't bother arguing with him as I didn't want to ruin the night with my family. Very disappointed with the service and will never go back again!!!!

Always have an amazing experience here. It is usually very busy, which is a great thing because the food is amazing! Also Yukie is always smiling and lovely. Highly recommend this place if you are in Indooroopilly. The wait is definitely worth it!!
