Hero sushi

We always love to have sushi here..Various sushi, affordable price, and nice service are the reasons why we love it. In the afternoon they have 20% for all item so it becomes more affordable. The quality is good and in front of the Hero Sushi you can find some place to sit and enjoy your sushi. Every time we go to Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, this place is one of our stop.

This popular restaurant situated directly outside Woolworths offers a wide range of sushi/hand rolls and boxed sushi sets. The staff are friendly and the taste is alright but could be improved in my opinion. They also offer a great discount nearing closing time (5:30pm) on the leftover sushi for that day.

Got aburi (seared) salmon nigiri box from Indooroopilly, not the best quality as most of the slamon in the box had parts of the skin and fat still on it and then they covered it with the sauce to hide it, which is not suppose th be there in sushi. The fat just makes it tastes gross. 🤮 Feels like they just gave me the left over bits of the fish and put it on my sushi. .😑😑😑

OMG what happened? Did I get served an awful 4 boxes of sushi or what.

Sushi is my favourite food. I love it so much I ate it every single day for a year straight. Out of all the places in Brisbane (and possibly the world) this was the worst sushi I have ever eaten. Flavourless ingredients, stale seafood, and spongy damp rice. Misleading pricing on display for some of the boxes too.

If you want sushi at Indro, there are at least 3 other outlets in the centre. Please avoid this place. It is a crime to sushi!

Very disappointed with the sushi. Now reading the reviews- should have read the reviews before I went there. Bought 9 sushi rolls and the rice in all of them was undercooked and hard. The The manager said that probably they added less water. I said well the rice is undercooked. She said that that’s not the case. It was ridiculous that she was trying to convinced me that the rice was ok. They charged top dollar and selling poor quality food. Will never buy there again. What a waste of money !!!!!

Consistently disappointing.

I've been here about 5 times over the past couple of years because it is in a convenient location and it's never been delicious.
Today, the rice in my sushi was undercooked and hard and the iced tea I bought was room temperature.

Worst karage sushi I've ever tasted. Meat was hard and chewy, virtually no rice in the roll, wish I had read the comments here first before buying. Utter waste of money.

I won’t say this Sushi bar deserves more that a star in not even less. I can’t believe last night when I bought Karaage chicken on a rice. It was 6:30pm yesterday the 10th of Nov. we paid a full price and found out that the chicken was so old and dry. This meal should go straight to the bin instead to a customer. My wife had some of this rubbish and had to throw the rest. I am not sure if the owner or the lady who runs the bar is aware of health and safety food standards? Old food in warmer build bacteria and shouldn’t go to public. My wife had a stomachache and seriously I am thinking to file a complaint against them. So disappointed
