Hanaichi Indooroopilly

First time at this store, but haven't had Hanaichi in many years. I don't expect much for a fast food customer service store but they could've at least made up in the food. I ordered a regular teriyaki chicken and I basically got a lightly seasoned thigh piece with a touch of teriyaki sauce on a mountain of rice with the usual sides. The lack of sauce made my dish so dry! I get that there's inflation, but to cheap out on the sauce really isn't warranted...

I won't be recommending or returning, highly disappointed to see what Hanaichi has become over the years - all about profiting $$.

The food is always great however the wait time is usually very high. Food takes incredibly long to be prepared.

Waited 2 hours for delivery via menulog. Didn't arrive. Hanaichi doesn't have driver contact numbers, nor particularly interested in helping. Use this restaurant at your own risk, food may not arrive.

Stopped in to grab a bite to eat. The gent behind the counter was super fast in taking the order, however my complete order (and someone else's - 2 dishes) were sitting on the pick up counter behind him for a good 3+ minutes before he passed them over as he was counting the money in the register... what can I say, I was hungry!? I ordered a large Kay's chicken, regular teriyaki chicken and a regular beef yakiniku, each on rice, plus a bottle of tea. Kay's and the yakiniku was on point for the serving size and balance of topping to rice, although the yakiniku was a bit dry. The teriyaki chicken had four (4) slices of chicken (I wish I was kidding) and a smattering of salad. Super lack-lustre and had I only ordered that, I would have starved.

I asked for if they did karage rice bowls, she said yes and brought out something completely different (kays chicken) which was discussing and not what I ordered. If they didn't sell them she could have just said no instead of wasting my time and $11. Would give 0 if I could

Ran to get to Hanaichi as I realised they close at 5. Managed to get there at 4:54 but the girl refused to serve me even though I could see them still handing out others diners meals. I know it's annoying getting last minute orders but it's fast food, the meal would only take a couple minutes and it's advertised close at 5. Not sure if staff are just lazy or not paid enough time to clean up and therefore need to close early but I'm very unhappy. I'm sure Motto Motto will accept my money in future.

Doesn’t open at 9am. It’s 11am and still not open. Also if your looking to order anything from the full menu, you’ll need to order before 3pm as they tend to run out of everything (including rice!)

Ordered the tofu curry through ubereats tonight and it was beautiful. Great portions and super yummy.
