The Gap Chinese Kitchen

The Chinese food here is simply one of the greatest! They have an extensive menu including vegetarian options too. The food is always made hot and fresh from the wok by the hardworking chefs. Tastes great and has been my go to for years, would definitely recommend.

Living in The Gap for over 20 years, they have been here all that time. Never had a bad meal. Spring rolls are the best I've had. The other meals are just as good. Be careful how much you buy. Your eyes can be bigger than your stomach but all is most enjoyable. Excellent quick take-awake meal.

I must admit I wasn't sure in which Chinese takeaway to choose from after reading all the reviews in both that are available in The Gap precinct.
I'm glad I had choosen this particular one as the service was welcoming & a short wait later I had received my order and headed on home.
The food itself was freshly cooked, very tastful as the king prawns in one of our dishes was absolutely nice for a change! We know there not "fresh so to speak" but they tasted beautiful with their tails still attached along with the special fried rice & the Wonton soup...all tasted fresh & really enjoyed it.
So yes I would recommend this little business if you feel like some dinner on the way home & the price of their dishes were surprisingly good compared to other establishments that serve pretty much the same thing..

My partner and I are new to mount Nebo and picked up a few things from here on the way home. I've just had the spring rolls in the car and THEY'RE AMAZING. We also for free prawn crackers and the lady who served us was very lovely 😊

Consistently delicious Chinese food, very well balanced flavours… I accidentally discovered this place .. take my word the food is soul satisfying… order from the menu or if you are in a rush maybe then Bain Marie

This has to be one of the best take aways I've used. Everything we had was fresh and smelled delicious. It was fast and the price is reasonable

Never had a bad meal from here. Been buying meals weekly for some time. Staff very friendly and food is delicious and vegetables are so fresh and crispy. Just love this Chinese takeaway. Can't fault anything about it.
