Maa Annapurna

They normally do a good job. Ordered 2 butter chicken on 5 Oct 2021 and both curries were really watery and almost bitter. I am not sure what happened today and I hope they can work on their consistencies.

Further Edit: I did not take up the offer as I understand that small businesses are struggling. I've had my take away order again last week and it was tasty and yummy as I remembered. Considering their response and the recent taste, I've updated my review to 5 stars. Thank you :)

I have been on the hunt for good Indian in Brisbane for such a long time and last night I was not disappointed when I came across Maa Annapurna!! Maa Annapurna gave me such a wonderful experience from the beautiful service to complimentary papadums to the delicious, authentic Indian flavours… I was amazed! It’s so hard to find healthy but delicious Indian cuisine but wow, what a fantastic job! I will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family. Can’t wait to come back.

Truly appalling quality and quantities. The dishes were almost all thin sauce with very little meat or vegetable content, and all tasted the same. The meat and vegetable content for the four dishes and measly naan breads in the “banquet” plus another dish would barely feed four - let alone the six to eight (!) adults the banquet alone is supposed to satisfy. Avoid at all costs if you want an actual meal.

Disappointing almost feel ripped off. Spent over $40 pp for containers of sauce. The chicken korma literally had 7 pieces of bite sized bits in a container of juice!! The Shahi Paneer wasn't much better. This is the second time we have been disappointed by Maa Annapurna. We ordered by mistake tonight but we were reminded why we choose other Indian restaurants.

Their flavours arent bad at all but for the price per dish and what turns up in the container It feels like a waste of money. The pictures on the delivery apps look nothing like what you actually get at your door.

Our go to restaurant. Best Mango Chicken also sensational beef madras.
Wouldn’t go anywhere else,customer service is always 10/10

I have ordered take away on two (2) occasions as this is my local Indian restaurant - never, ever again. Each time the dish has a total of 3 to 4 pieces of meat & then the dish is ALL sauce. A total rip-off. Don't bother with this establishment, it's a real let down. I don't know how they can stay open serving food such as this.

Too little too late Maa Annapurna! Other reviewers have reported (with picture evidence) that your curries only have 3 to 4 pieces of meat in each one! I'm now travelling to an Indian restaurant in Ashgrove that is amazing AND generous with their delicious offerings!!

I love going here. The staff is so friendly and helpful and the food is fab. The best out there!
