The Croft House

We called into The Croft House early Monday morning 31/01/22 for breakfast. Excellent friendly service & excellent value. Ordered
1 x Salmon Berry, 1 x Pumpkin Fritters & 1 x Cappuccino + water.
Food well cooked & excellent presentation. In total paid AUD $45.00

Pretty average food for the price. When I arrived the staff were pretty on the ball with greeting me and were polite. When I was asked to sit and choose a table, most of them hadn't been wiped down yet and had visible debris from other people's meals still left on them.

The food arrived very quickly as did my drink, but the staff seemed a bit distracted chatting with one another. Pretty sure the tables were only wiped down because staff only noticed after bringing my food over that everywhere I could have sat was dirty.

Good food and drinks but 0 effort on customer service !! Girls Told me to sit down anywhere. Went to table No menus there and said nothing. After a while I had to go and get menu myself there and ordered.
Overall it was great but I suggest you guys focus on people not talk to themselves.

I came on a Monday night so was quite empty at the time. I ordered the 200g eye fillet in red wine jus, it was quite nice. Staff were pleasant but the place just seemed to be missing something, ordering from a QR code perhaps could be the difference as I am used to having smiling faces of staff asking me how I am going. It seemed a little ‘sterile’. Anyway I will be back, overall it was quite pleasant, just not a 5⭐️ experience.
13.06.22 - Second visit and I will say the Sticky Pork Belly was quite tasty and the rib eye consistent. A few more people around tonight and the staff were noticeably more engaged and bubbly tonight. Another pleasant experience, I will be back again.

I wanted to have just a cup of coffee with my fiancee this morning, and went to this one as their food smell always made me hungry on the way home after work.
They are even better than I expected. Huge portion of food and really nice latte and mocha.
I definitely recommend the Croft House 😁👍

Breaky was Amazing, chefs accommodated halal dietary request. Service requires improvement so I would suggest staff to offer water to all guests. Staff should not get nervous during peak hour as was my observation which resulted in them mixing up and missing one of my food orders. Has a good view of the street if you’re that kind of a person, and especially if you’re visiting and looking for a quick in and out. Ambience is great too.

We did enjoy our post theatre dinner tonight. Food was delicious and risotto was quite generously portioned. Service in some ways raised eyebrows but was generally okay. Nice and bright setting is always a plus.

We had a wonderful breakfast served by Roxanne who was incredibly helpful and friendly. The food was good quality and the atmosphere was very relaxed. It was the first place we visited for breakfast on our holiday recommended by a local! Its definitely worth a visit if you're new to Brisbane.
