Only had good experiences with The Glen. Staff is friendly and helpful. Restaurant has many areas and the kid section is the best. If you call in advance and book a table close to the kid's playground, you're set to enjoy your night out.
Food was always good. Did not have anything to complain about. Had pizza most times which was a good bet and the burgers were spot on too. Tasty, good looking and making you want more. If you're really hungry, probably go with pizza. It's big enough. Plenty of drinks to choose from and price wise is like any other place. Not cheap and definitely don't have to sell a kidney to get a drink. A place to come back anytime. Keep up the good work people at The Glen!

I’ve been here twice now, and both times have been so great!! I’ve received my food and drinks within 5 minutes of my order. The seating areas are all lovely with options for shaded or sunny. The kids playground is amazing. I’ve only been for breakfast, but I’m definitely going to come back for lunch and dinner! I really appreciate the effort that the staff take for it to be adult and child friendly. A++++

We went here for a family catch up on a Thursday night, which happens to be Rib night, the boys at our table got the huge serving of ribs. Which came with sauce, salad and chips. I got a pizza, a burger was ordered too. All of which was delicious and massive servings. This place is awesome for families with young kids as there is a pretty fun looking place area. The staff are friendly and helpful.

My husband and I just had our wedding at The Glen Hotel and it was a dream!! The event staff were incredible to deal with from the beginning when we had a viewing of the venue through to smoothly running the entire day and regularly checking in to see if everything was how we wanted it. Due to rain we held the ceremony in the undercover area which was intimate and perfect and the courtyard provided a gorgeous setting for our photoshoot. The Elaine Room was absolutely beautiful for our reception and the food was delicious, catering to a number of different dietary requirements for our guests. On top of all this, the hotel suites were beautiful and hotel staff super friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. The Glen Hotel was a perfect all-inclusive wedding venue. Thank you for being a massive part of making our special day one to remember!!

We've driven past this place a few times and often commented on how good the kids play area looked. We spontaneously visited for the first time today and had a very good experience. We managed to get sat right next to the kids play area (arrived at 12pm) which was great for us and the kids. We ordered chips and two drinks on the app and it all arrived within 5 minutes - the gravy that comes with the chips is so so good! The kids then went for ice creams from the dessert bar, spoilt for choice! We had a brilliant time here.

We used the scan order pay option and ordered our meals. The first to arrive was the salted caramel sundae which was amazing in its own right… how ever it would have been better to deliver this AFTER the main meals had been completed. Next was friends chai latte as well as mine that was l with lactose free milk that I had to pay extra for which I don’t mind, but my mug was half full of froth. My friend ordered the calamari and a side salad which arrived next. The calamari was fantastic size for an entree, in fact it was main meal size! Great but some of the calamari was over cooked and tough to cut with the butter knives they provided for cutlery.
Last to arrive was my meal. Which I ended up eating warm instead of hot. The gnocchi would have been perfect if it wasn’t drowned in the sauce.

My recommendation is for the staff to see the entire meal so as not to deliver the dessert before main meals have been completed. The excuse I was given was that they don’t see the whole meal just their part.

I won’t be coming back. Not for the price I paid and the service I received.

This place is popular for all the right reasons. Great food, quick service and it has a decent playground to boot. Seating can be a gamble if you're just rocking up on a whim but from what we understand is that if you give a call before 10.30 you should be able to snag a reservation.
Seats with a clear view of the playground are rare so you may find yourself having to walk over for the occasional 'is my child still alive' check.
Plenty of parking.

Great pub!

The salt and pepper squid was incredible and cooked perfectly. The wait staff did get a little annoyed that our table ordered staggeringly, and by the time the last person came up they were a little snappy.

The outdoor seating area had a great ambiance to it, with some fairy lights and lots of tables and seating.
