Motion Dining

1st visit to this place, I went for the Sunday Brunch.

I have been to a few posh buffets like this one, and what I was able to choose from for the money I paid I though was satisfactory.

There was a lot of great options, food quality was exceptional, I absolutely loved the Oysters Kilpatrick and Waffles.

Service was as good as it gets.

You also get a Bellini Cocktail or something like that when you arrive, I'm not much of a drinker but tried it anyway since I thought I might as well.

I left very happy :)

2nd Visit.

I have nothing but praise after my lunch experience.

The great food was one thing, but the thing that stood out most for me was all the staff working.

Very friendly, very helpful an happy to answer all my questions, and had no problems working with me whenever I needed to make changes to food I wanted to order.

I had the Korean Noodles, Wagyu Burger & Chicken on Turkish Bread.

I loved them all, I have had similar food at other places for similar or higher prices prices which were quite inferior to the quality I had today.

I left extremely full but more importantly, I left extremely happy :)

We really enjoyed staying at Marriott hotel in Brisbane but Motion dining had very basic breakfast buffet. Variety was limited.

Recently open back up due to covid. Used to be one of my favourite restaurants to go to but truly believe it lost its touched. Its over priced for the quality of the food. Food was blend and nothing special. Feel like eating an average main dish from any restaurants but at overprice rates. Customer service was also average, there was not alot of people eating dinner on a Saturday night maybe 4 tables but yet numerous of times I needed to get the waitress to fill our water up.

Price to taste ratio comes out pretty average. $30 scallops gets 4 very tiny scallops seasoned well and cooked properly... but getting cold by time they arrived at our table. Place was not particularly busy. 2 stars for dinner. Overall you can find a lot better places for your taste buds and dollars in Brisbane CBD.

It was a good thing that our stay involved breakfast, it was their redemption round. Buffet, made complete with fresh fruits, juicer and a good omelette bar.

The staff are excellent and the food is very good. The atmosphere is a bit like that of a big barn but overall we like this place and always have a good meal here. The bar has a wide variety of draft beer and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is better value than most hotel restaurants.

Great cocktails and nice wine list, really professional service from all staff we dealt with. Meals were a little under the standard we hoped for with such a premium location, we mentioned to our server, and kitchen seemed to agree about our beef cheeks being dry and not enough sauce. We were offered complimentary dessert which felt like a fair offer of compensation.

Joined several friends for lunch. Greeted at door and seated. Water jug and glasses on the table. Comprehensive drinks menu, including cocktails. Limited lunch menu but lots of finger food options including several vegetarian. Lunch is mainly upmarket burgers, chicken or seafood. Excellent service but food was slow and side of chips were cold.

We’ve been here prior 5 years for our wedding anniversary and this time didn’t disappoint either! Always prompt and meal were great
