This waterfall is very colorful, I've never seen anything like it before. The water below the falls looked like a swimming pool, although I'm sure it's nothing that you would want to swim in. And after visiting this waterfall, continue downstream to see more which are also very beautiful.

I love the color of this water fall. It is located only six miles from Black water Fall State Park. You can drive your car along gravel rd (Rail Fall Rd) or if you donot like it, take the pavement parallel rod (Douglas Rd) and then just find a spot to park your car and come down to the fall.

We made a week vacation trip to WV and stayed at a wonderful nearby airb&b where we could hear these falls with the windows open and slept with it each night. There is one trail that allows access to this, the coke ovens and the even bigger Douglas falls down the road. If you want to see falls, mountains and history, I recommend a trip to WV. Just drive carefully along the cliffs.

A sweet waterfall along the same dirt road not far from Douglas Falls tucked away in a quaint town. If you visit these falls it's worth it to hit Blackwater Falls and Elakala Falls in the same day.

The road out to this is in real bad shape, anything with a higher clearance will be fine though. The area is, wow. So much beauty, with a lot of interesting areas along the way.

Beautiful falls right by the road.

Interesting at falls near other falls and off the trail. Super easy to miss if you drive but great along the walking path.

I’d suggest parking near where route 27 crosses the path and walking to black water falls with this as a stop along the way.

This was a bit out of the way, but worth seeing. Didn't realize there is another waterfall farther ahead. road is a bit rough but still doable. Interesting history
