A cute place to stop. The mud River bridge is a pedestrian-only bridge. You enter into pumpkin Park and park there and walk to the bridge it's very close

Kind of sad that it is gated off so you cannot walk across it, but it looks a little saggy so not sure I would want to. But it's a cute little location with a pond and a fountain. Worth a quick couple minute stop of your in the area. But don't go out of your way.

Easy to get to. Was disappointed we couldn't walk across the bridge; I'm not sure if that was permanent or a temporary thing. Lots of goose droppings on the walk to the bridge; fountain in the pond was nice.

Nice little spot, but the covered bridge is currently closed. It was open about a month ago and I did notice loose and rotted boards. That probably has something to do with why it is closed. Hope it is fixed again soon.
