Pretty area with some good trails. The yellow trail can be difficult when wet. Also, some trails have too much road noise.

Great trail. I think all 3 ( blue, yellow & orange ) collectively equal 4 miles. Benches & information at each intersection point. I wouldn't suggest going after a rain on the Orange trail. The mud areas could be dangerous.

Fantastic place to hike! Trails marked clearly, provide easy-moderate hiking. The trail system is connected in such a way you can design your own longer loops or do a quick hike if short on time! Lots of Coyote and Deer tracks!

Would give five stars if it had better river access considering the name is the forks of coal it's very difficult to get down to the river maybe do a little bit of wading, swimming. The trails are short and sweet, great place to take the kids for a few hours.

Many different trails—some flat, some hilly, some by the River. Great spot for birdwatching, wildflowers, mushrooms.Easy access—right off Corridor H. Benches here and there on the trails.

Once completed, the Forks of Coal Natural Area will prove to be a great asset to the area. While the buildings are still under construction you can still hike the various trails. There will be something for all ages, educational events, programs, trail maintenance and more!
