Regal Grand Central Mall

Went to see starwars the last Jedi on opening weekend, Saturday December 16th around 6 pm, used my $5 off Google guide discount. The new reclining seats with raising foot rests were a nice touch, especially since I inadvertantly got tickets very close to the screen because I hadn't been to the remodeled theater. The bathrooms and theater were clean. As previous people have said, those lights are annoying distraction. Yeah what was wrong with red exit signs like they used to have? The military flashlights have red filters you can apply for a reason, the light doesn't stand out so much! Though that's mostly for long range. The employees were pleasant to interact with. They helped me straighten out my seating situation. Now I have made a point to avoid this theater like the plague just because of the high prices! When we were younger the process were better compared to peoples income and we went here often! All my friends feel the same. We carpool for the 45 minute drive to Athens, OH. It has bigger screens and had the stadium seating before regal here. Movie tickets for $5 normal and be $8 for 3d instead of $14 at regal. Inexpensive snacks, popcorn, be and sodas. You get to butter your own popcorn!! Go a little farther and right before Nelsonville you'll see movies 14 which also has great prices on movie tickets and cheap popcorn and soda. Great for families with the big arcade there too with food made to order including pizzas without breaking the bank! I've always said Regal here would do SO MUCH BETTER with lower prices like the competition. Yeah on an individual level high prices they make more per person but fewer customers. With lower prices they'd get so many more customers!! Making more profit by amount of more people paying and coming back more often! When I worked at Blockbuster video many years ago I kept saying the same thing.. but no, they charged too much, got higher and higher, lost a lot of regular customers. Redbox just put the nail in the coffin. I wish I could make family outings every weekend to Regal cinemas, until the corporation overhauls pricing out won't be possible.

I’m very surprised this place has such good reviews. The screens are super dirty, to the point that it’s hard to see the screen, there’s machines behind the screens that are super loud and yet they do nothing to turn them off, and on top of that, they don’t tell you the 5 dollar discount on Tuesday’s only applies if you use your regal account to buy the tickets, yet when I asked if I can re purchase the tickets using my account they said no, absolutely pathetic customer service and cleanliness. Zero care goes into this theatre

Really helpful staff, comfy seats, and not overcrowded. Even if a movie were full, there's still plenty of space! The seats even recline. The only thing is that the headrest area of the seats are getting a bit worn down and I don't really feel comfortable resting my head on them, but overall a terrific theater! Definitely our first choice in the area.

The location at grand central mall is supposed to open between 11-11:30am on fridays. We’ve been waiting over an hour for them to open. We tried knocking to find out why they haven’t opened and instead of helping us the help ran behind the counter and hid from us. I’m not sure if I want to continue doing business at this location considering how the staff is behaving and the fact they do not honor their hours. There’s no reason at 12:30pm they aren’t open when movies start before that time.

Wow, haven't been here since before COVID and they have done n excellent job of renovating it. Seats are reclining with leg supports and new, very comfortable.
Cost is about like everything else right now, but it was an wesome experience again!

Had a great time here. The reclining seats are awesome. Prepare to get loan approval for items at the concession counter. Holy cow! 7.99 for a small popcorn as an example.
The theater itself is great. I'd sneak in snacks from the Dollar Tree...lol

Popcorn is okay. Definitely have had better and don’t particularly enjoy it. Seating is all recliners so that is nice. Each theater is small, no more than 12 rows. Clean. Staff is friendly. Gave it 3 stars because they don’t have anything to eat other than candy and popcorn. Other theaters I have been to have food options and ice cream options. This place is mediocre but at least the seating is okay and it’s clean. They offer discount tuesdays and mystery movie monday which is a surprise movie for cheaper than usual. Prices are lower range for theaters so I do like that about Regal. I will keep looking for a better theater.

First time going to the movies in a year and there were a little over 30 minutes of ads before the movie started. Definitely not coming back I’ll just continue waiting for movies to become available on streaming services where I don’t have to waist so much time sitting through so many ads.
