Wasn't sure why they charged me tax of $1.75 on the WV tax free weekend on all clothes purchases for back to school. I didn't realize until I had left and I spent $350 for my granddaughter and I guess paying only $ 1.70 isn't bad. But it is the principle of it.

The dressing rooms are unsanitary and about 80 degrees. I went to buy an entire wardrobe and left with nothing because try on clothes was a miserable experience.

The store is alright. There is a wide variety of formal wear to choose from which is nice. They also have very helpful employees and tend to have short checkout times. They also keep the store very clean. The only downside is that the prices are really expensive.

I’ve always loved shopping at JC Penney’s because of the wide selection of clothes. My family went shopping today and was unsure of clothing sizes. Since fitting rooms are closed we had to take our business elsewhere. What’s up with that? We live over an hour away and can’t afford to buy clothes, take home to try on, then need to plan another unplanned day to return the clothes. Opening the fitting rooms seems minor compared to loosing customers!

Took my youngest clothes shopping for school. Not a real great selection. She found a couple shirts, that was it. Staff was pleasant and helpful though, dressing rooms were clean.

Very nice employees here very helpful very patient and efficient they wanted to make sure I was satisfied with my selection I would highly recommend JCPenney's

A good place to get some nice merchandise. I love to go clearance shopping.

I went for a purse. Their selection is way smaller than it used to be. I was disappointed that I didn't find what I was looking for.
