Itmann Company Store

This is a truly incredible building in Southern West Virginia. It is amazing to think about the history here, really hoping something can be done with it.

Old abandoned place had to be very nice in its time...

This is a historical structure. It is supposedly going to be reopened sometime in the future as a motel/restaurant. It is falling down and in need of repair. You can get a picture of the building from the side of the road and appreciate it's amazing stone work however it is on private property marked with no trespassing signs. It's a disappointment is what it is. Yet you can't help but appreciate it still.

I'd love to own this building. Truly an awesome building to stumble across.

I walk our family dog “Izzy” around and inside of the place all the time. My daughter went with me exploring around and inside of the Itmann’s ol company store and she liked the elevator shaft and how it went all the way under the ground.

So much beauty and history in this awesome historic building! I love the stone it was built with, they just don’t do it anymore, which is sad
