I love this little shop! The owners parter with lots of different locals and consign all kinds of goodies! High quality products at affordable prices! You can find great home goods, furniture, jewelry, toys, and more. They even have a candy counter! If you are looking for a place to stay, the upstairs is being transformed into Airbnbs! They have two rooms already and are a great place to stay in town as they continue to transform this beautiful building. Wonderful addition to Sutton and worth the stop off the interstate!

Noel and I went to the store. Its located next to Braxton Co Courthouse on Main Street.
Unfortunately it was closed.

It was very disappointing
They have on street meter parking.
Seems lovely from the windows and they are supposed to have a Bigfoot Museum inside.

I often find myself spending a lot of quality time with the kind and generous people who run the Mountain Laurel Country Store. This wonderful little store houses the 1 and only West Virginia Bigfoot Museum along with a few B&B rooms upstairs. There’s a welcoming atmosphere and the amount of nice things I can say is unlimited. I highly recommend this little slice of heaven to anyone and everyone I encounter.

I was on a cross-country road trip earlier this year (2021). Stopped by the Flatwoods Monster Museum, which wasn't super impressive, so I walked down the street and came across this store. Lots of nice crafts and odds and ends. Wound up talking to the store owner for nearly two hours. Very nice person. Definitely want to return one day, if only to say hello again!

The Flatwoods Monster museum billboard on the highway drew us in to stop at this fun little town. Wound up spending a couple hours here and chatted with many folks. This country store was a highlight! Bought a lot of unique gifts here. Looking forward to stopping here again next year on our annual trip out to Louisville.

Loved the store and the Bigfoot section was the best! Cool castings of foot sightings and the man there was super personable and knowledgeable about the Bigfoot items. A great find in Sutton and a definite place to go.

Great little country store feel, lots of local crafts, along with the Bigfoot Museum home run. Great place to visit.
