Nice gondola ride down to the restaurant. Hamburger was excellent. The french fries are amazing. Best of all the ride was free if you eat at the restaurant.

Awesome place 2 visit witth family. 1 day no more mask rules. That will be in the distant past. Picked up a item from gift shop at lower level. Crafting local artists that I have been eye balling for 2 years plus. Good family fun. Love wvirginia. No problems with social distancing when in the sticks and most ya see is nature and occasiona humansl. I Holla at you you holla at me from distance. Ha ha ha.

The zip line was a great activity. 5 of us went (2 adults and 3 kids) and it was well worth it. 9 zip lines in total, and several were quite long/high/fast. There is a hike at the beginning, certainly less than a mile, where you will exert but the rest is all downhill (pun intended).

Brett and Eli were great guides and I would recommend them to anyone.

Tram was closed for maintenance in the afternoon.

If you hike the canyon rim trail to heritage point. It was very steep. The view is not that great so not worth the hiking. The trails are not well maintained as the park only pays attention to the commercialized things like lodge, restaurants, golf court, etc., where they can make money. If you want nature and hiking, this is not the park for you. The trails have overgrown grass. Also watch for copperhead snakes. You have been warned.
