Great place for kids to play and they have a skate park.

I grew up coming here as a little one. It’s great to see the park expand and grow over time. The playground and pool just keep getting better. There’s tons of picnic spots with shading. There’s a cool little area in the woods near the park road with wooden benches and a fire pit. A tennis court, basketball court, and newly added skate park are just a few of the great options. There’s a bathroom house free to use year round. I could go on and on. Great park!!!

Nicholas County Park is a great Park plenty to do lots of open space for fairs and festivals home of the Nicholas County Fair conveniently located on Route 19 just outside of Summersville

Was there attending a softball tournament . The park itself is nice, but the bathrooms need updating. They were also out of toilet paper in every stall and was told the maintenance/caretaker had been contacted. They didn't show up until Sunday afternoon after one of the umpires called again.

Great place to watch the fireworks on the 4th of July! Practically empty and the view was perfect! There's some empty fields people could spread picnic blankets or bag chairs,there's the pavilion with picnic tables and play ground for the kids! It'd be amazing if Summersville would get some food trucks and craft vendors to set up and hire live bands to play as well. There needs to be something better than the crowded walmart parking lot.

The road is rough in some places, but it's a nice park. Good for walking and there is a playground for little kids as well as a basketball court and a little skateboard area.
