Definitely a hidden gem at the park. Great for kids to explore the labs, petting zoo, and learn how to draw animals. Pretty cool and has a fun scavenger hunt as well.

The animation experience is fun for artist and non-artist alike. They walk you through step by step in drawing a charter within the conservation building while giving you facts and insights on the animations. Being in doors can also be a good reprive from the heat of outside!

You have to take a train to get here. It's interesting to see the different entomology exhibits something I didn't expect. You also get to see some of the medical/ surgical facilities. Thankfully, it isn't active most of the day, but it's still worth a look. An animation/drawing class is avaliable I didn't do.

Very informative staff to answer any questions you might have.

Fun train ride from Gorilla Falls to Conservation Station giving a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes of The Animal Kingdom. Once there, it's a short and lovely shady walk to the petting zoo and the building where you can learn animation techniques by being guided by a Disney animator on drawing a Disney character. Highly recommended activity for everyone. There is also a viewing area where you may be able to see the team of veterinarians working on one of the animals. The day I was there, the male lion was having his teeth cleaned. You're behind glass of course but very close to the action and there are monitors providing the close up view. Kids and adults were enthralled and asked one of the cast members a steady stream of questions. Lots of fun!

Conservation Station is a fun and interesting way to enjoy wildlife and other animals at the park. It's a welcome change of pace that includes a petting zoo, plus a large nature center with a permanent collection of amphibians, reptiles, insects, and other animals on display. There are frequent special programs that change regularly.

animal kingdom, first time in a long time.
was a great day, able to see everything in one visit from opening to closing hours. cost was high, did not get a Florida discount, sad, cause we might visit more if we did.
